Bose system fault?

Hey everyone

I have the Bose sound system in my 350z, I have noticed the sub behind my drivers seat the base sometimes goes off then back on now & again? Is this a common fault with them? Even if I'm parked up not moving it still does it so I know it's not a lose connection, well which I'm guessing it can't be

Any help much appreciated :)

Hi,

Yes it's a fairly common problem with the Bose subs as far as I'm aware. Bought my first zed a few months back and the sub randomly stopped working after a few weeks, but then the next day it was working again so haven't got round to fixing it yet.

Did a quick search and found that there's a relay in the amp which can work loose and cause the sub to cut out. Check out this thread :)

Im not even that good with a soldering iron, but I did it (and wrote the guide) and it's still going fine! It's a very simple fix, well worth doing.
