Kieran_ctr
Hey everyone I have the Bose sound system in my 350z, I have noticed the sub behind my drivers seat the base sometimes goes off then back on now & again? Is this a common fault with them? Even if I'm parked up not moving it still does it so I know it's not a lose connection, well which I'm guessing it can't be Any help much appreciated
Hachiroku
Hi, Yes it's a fairly common problem with the Bose subs as far as I'm aware. Bought my first zed a few months back and the sub randomly stopped working after a few weeks, but then the next day it was working again so haven't got round to fixing it yet. Did a quick search and found that there's a relay in the amp which can work loose and cause the sub to cut out. Check out this thread http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/85821-how-to-bose-subwoofer-cutout-fix-amp/
veeg33
^^ as above, fairly simple fix if you are good with soldering. Replacing the relay fixed mine..........And it's over 18 months now since.........still going strong.

cs2000
Im not even that good with a soldering iron, but I did it (and wrote the guide) and it's still going fine! It's a very simple fix, well worth doing. eBay link for relay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/like/390813571045?limghlpsr=true&hlpv=2&ops=true&viphx=1&hlpht=true&lpid=108&device=c&adtype=pla&crdt=0&ff3=1&ff11=ICEP3.0.0&ff12=67&ff13=80&ff14=108&ff19=0
