GMballistic Posted October 3, 2015 Share Posted October 3, 2015 Not very discreet but I've mounted my GoPro using a GoPro suction cup mount in various ways: On the roof, rear window (outside & inside), front windscreen (inside) and also on the door panel. When I went to Castle Combe for a track day they were ok with me mounting it to the inside of the front windscreen (does vary between circuits & organizers though I know). Great view through the windscreen and picks up the driver/passenger if needed. Used the sticky pad mount with no problems and cleaned up easily afterwards. This I can clip onto the passenger sun visor quickly and unobtrusively. If you hadn't guessed, its for my next ring visit. I have mine mounted on a curved base on top of the rear strut and to give it height it is on the 'Jam' extension pieces, still get a bit of movement on bumpy ground though.. Dave6188 Posted July 22, 2016 Share Posted July 22, 2016 I've mounted mine with the 3M sticky mount right next to my rear view mirror so it's discreet and out of the way, the Gopro hangs upside down but you can invert the image so it's the correct way up in the settings.
