Can't program new fob to unlock

Oh! That's the only key I have.....the other is merly the fob.

Yeah the key and fob in the picture work but can't get them to get the car into program mode so I can add a spare fob

Make sure the working fob is no where near the car when you're doing it as that can confuse things

Just did this as my plip had stopped working remotely. I was only able to get it to work with the drivers door open.

 

If anyone in the west midlands is having trouble doing this, I be more than happy to lend a hand.

Reviving an old thread.. I've had an issue with trying to register my key since i got the car

 

Got they key tested, no signal from it, changed battery, still not signal. Bought a new key from ZMANALEX, gave a signal.

 

I tried the programming procedure but still doesn't register the key. The hazards flash twice to enter programming mode. However, when I hold the unlock and press the lock button then release, nothing happens. I've tried all the possible combinations. I then proceeded to replace the receiver in the car behind the passenger dash hoping that would be the issue. Nope, still the same issue.

 

I have a 2004 GT Spec UK model 350z.

1 Working Valet key with no lock/unlock button

1 Non working square key with lock/unlock buttons. - The car starts just fine, just cant register the key to use the remote unlock feature.

 

Any help would be appreciated.
