(apologies for rant mode - even if it's just for myself :wacko:)

 

Of course, it's far to easy to jump to conclusions here, I'm going to but I hope I'm totally wrong and it wasn't for what I suspect happened...

22 and 25 - sounds to me like ego.

At the end of the day, if you think you're good at driving - you aren't, you're shi7 - even if that's a lot of experience on 'track days' since you were a kid, it's not the same as driving on a road, let alone alpine passes with severe drops. Anything can happen from rocks falling, retarded cyclists, tourists and other drivers making mistakes, and of course even failures on your own car.

 

Really just a bit of a wake up call for anyone that's willing to listen.

And like I said, even just a reminder to myself, sometimes pushing on a bit too much.
