  1. Here is the fueling timing Rich: are you saying add 2 to every value on here?
  2. Is was off the chart maxing out over 18.......
  3. True......can't see my citroen pulling it though good job my dad has a big American truck
  4. I have pm'd uncle alex to see what he thinks
  5. I seem to recall its the nat's that authenticates the ecu and allows the car to start. So as long as the nats is the same it should be ok.....
  6. I i did go for a drive with your map.....but it just chugged along and didn't really want to accelerate. I don't have any engine management lights on either. I think there is major conflict going on with the uprev and utec. Anyone know if its possible just to swap out the ecu with another uk car? this way i can at least see if your map on the utec is good and usable for me
  7. higher....i had to adjust the 0% column to what you suggested as i had it troubles with it idling. I got it down to 12 at 0 to 1500 revs which made idle nicley. Then after that i got 14's in the afr
  8. I see. At idle on your map i was hitting 16's.....then with a touch on the gas it would go off the chart!! As a test could i wire up another stock ecu from a same year car ? and then run the utec with that? or do i fall into problems with nats and what not
  9. I suppose that is the advantage with the utec to be able to monitor more variables and have the added safety net of the knock detection over 5k
  10. So it will need my ecu re flashed back to stock if i intend to continue to use the utec? Is there a way they can co exist? once i have routed my new fuel line i will be able to get a fuel pressure reading Cheers for that rich
  11. He was running 458whp with meth injection though which raises the threshold ever so slightly.... Im running the 2.87 pulley which is what is needed for the big numbers....the smaller the pulley the more boost is achieved
  12. doesn't matter anyway as i just want a safe reliable tune
  13. Forged performance is a tuner over in the states
  14. Yeah paul that is the kit that i own and is now on my car....he is not forged though cheers for the input
  15. Just sent rich a message he should tune in shortly
  16. I suspect the car made 450HP (fly) in the States The kit will manage that easily from what I've read Im not saying i want that much but i would love to see you post that over here http://my350z.com/forum/forced-induction/441198-fis-top-25-list.html
  17. Having spoken with paul @ rs tuning he had the pro charged zed in for about a week.....which i would imagine gave him plenty of knowledge and experience in dealing with a s/c zed. But when i mentioned that the guy before me had my kit running at over 450whp he called bullshit and didn't believe me....what i don't want is to be left short have not having the most (safest) output. He managed to get 400bhp at the fly out of the procharged zed
  18. So here are my options: Drive to thor racing (10 miles) and have them tune my utec which is already partly tuned. Drive to rs tuning (100 miles) and have them tune with uprev ( i already have the uprev software). Sell my utec which should pay for the cost of the tune.
  19. Abbey have not mapped uprev to a s/c car yet where as rs tuning have a map available which they have done. I will be there whilst its getting tuned. My only concern is that the wheels i have on at the moment are 17's with not much thread left on......which is why i am a bit concerned about the rolling road. Andlid: I have a return fuel system....the reason for him suggesting putting the stock injectors back is to make it not run so rich for a long period of time
  20. Well the map they have is of a pro charger s/c with 600cc injectors.....so they would to a straight upload of that and then take it from there i guess and then tweak what needs to be tweaked for better results. My only concern is they have a rolling road opposed to a hub dyno
  21. Yeah still the 10th dude Its not bad getting there but its going to be an early one
  22. Looks like were off to leeds Neil Just need to whack my standard injectors back in and drive there without the s/c belt connected
  23. I'm just working some things out.....there have been many people that have gone from a utec ems to uprev for there s/c . This way it keeps things very n/a and some have gotten better results than there utec. I could sell my utec and fund my tune with it fair enough mate, if you can do it that way you'll be quids in..... Mc'dees on you then
