A sad day for my brother Had his M3 about 4 months and then some arse of a lorry driver rams into him while he was queuing in traffic on the A34 last night!!!

And here it is!!!!! After some dissapointments i finally own my Zed Everyone at my work has been takin for a spin!!! 05 UK GT Gun Metal 5k on the clock!!!! I just love the alezan leather Seats!!!!! Well im now a fully fledged member!!!! Just now need to tell my dad what ive brought Just need to prioritise what i do first......Wheels or I.C.E?? my ice is gonna be a full in car pc!!! but can only do one of them at the mo what you reckon???? Plus anyone know what would be the best thing to get that silly sticker off the back??

So im picking up my 05 350z Gun Metal GT on Friday from my local nissan dealership. The car has only covered 5000 genuine mile and has had its P1 done at 2000 and its P2 done at around 4000. The car is practically brand new so would it need the major P3 service next? Cheers

Yeah woooo finally going to get to drive a Zed!!! Its an 05 Gun metal UK GT pack with just 5k on the clock!! Just a question of what to put it through on a test drive?? Obviously im not gonna reach high speeds without the sales man crapping his pants!!! Just looking for some pointers from experienced test drivers

well it was number 29 if anyone else is interested.....

It looked like the air con tank but not too sure....either way it would of needed a raditor, coolant tank and alot more than what i was led to beleive... The thing that killed me, the interior was spotless just like it had just rolled out of the show room!!!! Atleast now ive sat in a Z and realise it is the only car for me!!! My Citroen C2 can suck my ass!!!!!!! Trouble is that if you want a yellow zed, your probably going have to pay a lot more. Yeah i know that is the problem!! cheapest one around is about 18K!! Or maybe like someone said by a cheaper one and do a spray job on it. But i dont want a JDM thats what ive decieded and its hard to find uk models with low milage for anythink less than 14k..... Looks like ill be in a waiting game for another opportunity to crop up. But i know the yellow GT4 is unlikely to crop up again!!! unless you fancy writing ures off but please dont tw*t something head on Here is a pic to tied you over OUCH!!!!! well that was a shame! Was an absolute beauty!but seller wasn't that truthful. There was quite abit of engine damage with leaks here and there. Also apart of the engine was cracked! Quite a bit more than what was advertised on his advert on autotrader! O well so very close to zed ownership! Until next time.......u lucky zed owning bastards!!

Thanks for your comments. I will be getting a full write up of what the damages are and the repair costs. I have been told mechanically it is fine and is very drivable....but i will know for sure tomorrow night. thanks for your help buddy

Go with the HPI, and if it is a Cat C I hope you got it for a ridiculous price (like £5K). Given how many decent cheap Zeds (admittedly not many GT4s) are around nowadays, I would personally let it go and find myself a nice straight example. Good luck with the work if you do keep it, lots of update pics please! yeah your not too far off!!! The yellow GT4 is my ideal Z and there's not many yellow ones around for less than 18k ] So once ive checked it properly i'll have a good idea of what the costs are involved in repairing it. I could end up with a real cheap GT4 but only time will tell. thanks for your input though

Yeah that was my main concern....im going to investigate more. Got a hpi check on it and it came back with CAT C. But i have been told it was a CAT D. Lucky for me though i haven't paid the remaining balance yet going to see it Thursday to give it the final check over. Also taking my uncle who is a specialist in wrecks and recoveries. Will keep you all updated

i never said it was gonna be easy!!! hehehe!! Good thing is my uncle works at a body shop so i just need to source the parts and he'll do the rest!! i like a good challange!!! Plus it looks like it comes with a chunk of turf!!!!

hi Picking up my yellow 350z GT4 the weekend but it's a bit of a state(ill post pics soon) Any one know where to get second hand parts for the gt4(front bumper, side skirts,drivers door etc)? Or are they standard parts for a 350z's? You are gonna see a series of photos of before during and after! Will document the rebuild process for u all to see! Appreciate any help Cheers btw the inside is spotless!!! Mechanically its fine its just cosmetic damage
