Yikes, that's what bothers me... at £30k I could afford the finance payments and budget in about £100/month for running costs but any more than that I just couldn't justify/afford ...unless I live in the car..... Is a shame about the running costs I do have the option of pulling 6 day weeks at work (the 6th day would pay the extra needed for the running costs) but not sure how long I could last with only 1 day/week off Oh well, there's always the lottery

Was looking on autotrader and spotted one for £38k.. I'm thinking it wont be long till you can pick one up for £30k at which point this would be a hell of a lot of car for the money and very tempting! The thing that worries me though is the running costs, am I right in thinking they have a P1/2/3 schedule the same as the 350 zed, but need doing every 6 months ? Any idea of the costs of each service?

cool another zed in the Bournemouth area.....before long it ll be as busy down here as in Scotland did you manage to get him to join up on here and any pics so i can keep an eye out for it. ? Not in the bournemouth area unfortunately, he lives in Portsmouth and is scared of the internet

Not sure if its worth mentioning but he said the car has a pop charger on it I read in a couple of places that blue smoke could be due to breathing problems.. might this cause it?

I've persuaded a friend of my dads to buy a Zed Well to be fair it didnt take more than a quick ride in mine for him to talk himself into it He purchased one yesterday and its very clean and shiny but he's a bit worried about something This morning when he drive it off down the road there was a blue haze left behind... He had started it from cold and then literally driven away so there was no chance for the engine to warm up but hes concerned about the blue haze left behind as he seems to think this may be a sign of piston problems or something in v6's Any ideas?

So you _have_ to have the postcode of who made it on there for it to be legal? Just checked the plate on my mum and brothers cars and both literally just have the reg and nothing else..

Can anyone recommend a good company that can supply number plates? I've just received the documents for my personalized plate and need 2 sets made: 1) a fully legal one e.g ABC 123 2) a naughty one e.g ABC123 (but everything else legal on it apart from the middle spacing missing) I of course intend to use the "naughty" one for shows only... honest guv!

Was just wondering if driving for a couple of days before following the pad bedding in procedure will cause any problems? I had the pads fitted yesterday and have not had chance to drive to a long road late at night when there will be no traffic. I have driven about 10 miles so far taking it easy and plan to try and get out to bed them in tonight... Thoughts? :-)

Aye, there is meant to be a space between the first and second group of 3 letters, but I think I will just pop it on with no spaces and see what happens. If I get pulled over I'll put my hands up and apologise and put the space back in and use it with proper spacing in future

w00t! I won my personalised plate at auction today Originally I had seen it advertised on the nationalnumbers site so called them for a a price and was told they were going to try and buy it at auction in a couple of weeks and for £1850 + vat + fees they would try and get hold of it for me (they would obviously refund me if they couldnt get it). i decided to do some digging and found that it was being auctioned by the DVLA today with a reserve price of £350. I registered with the auction site and awaited the auction day... Long story short I got it for £850 so saved well over £1000 by going it alone instead of using nationalnumbers! What is the plate, I hear you ask ?
