Are you sure you havent pulled too much connector off? Sounds stupid.. only reason im asking is that my satnav is 2006. Not sure if its just the disk thats 2006 though! Im pretty sure you can sell it on anyway!

Saw the posting for the UK numberplate surround and I remembered that I need a JDM numberplate surround from when I had a bump. Anyone got one? CHeers

Dont take this as gospel but im pretty sure phil told me that jdm models before mid 2003 have the original. Id have to get him to confirm that though as all i cared about at the time is that mine had it!

Rich, have you checked which ECU you have yet? As i said, you may be lucky and have the same as mine that doesn't dumb down mods! Worth finding out i'm sure, big phil would probably know

Just the rear on my Zed is done.. very dark and darkens the rest of the cabin! Met a guy the other day that had a mesh kind of thing applied to his window - did the same effect as tinting, just a little blurrier. just another idea!

No because i havent got a 6th.. jdm Tiptronic Sounds stupid but the tyres seem to squeal a bit more if i floor it when i pull off but nothing else. As i said, its hard to tell though. May get my car on the dyno. I have the original ECU that doesn't dumb down mods and i've had a few things done. Probably will have just lost a bit of power with its age and because its hit 30,000 miles!

Strange, got mine fitted at ESR and the foam bit (with the stickers on) is the other way, resting on the pop charger.

yeah its all working.. finally managed to reset the ECU (about the 40th go) and the light has now stayed off. Ok, will probably get a right slating for this but i havent really noticed any difference. Took kingbiscuit out as well and it didnt seem any faster than his Zed. Its hard to say without comparing the before and after side by side or without a dyno run though! One thing as well, my MPG has dropped, dont know whether its my driving changing or the plenum spacer?!

Ive ofter seen people write MY06 or MY07 when refering to cars on here. What does MY mean? I did a quick search and all i could find was model/year but surely we all know the model (350z) and the year follows MY so im really puzzled. Cheers

Hey guys, After seeing the EBC pads warning the other day im just wondering whether endless pads on non brembos are going to be able to withstand a track day(silverstone)? I know my braking isnt going to be as good as others with brembos, i just wanted to make sure my pads arent going to disintegrate. Anyone know?

You have to un clip all the rear panels. Be careful though, i snapped a couple of the catches being impatient. You do have to be quite rough though at the same time.

You may have a vacuum leak. Did you use a torque wrench to tighten everything back up? off topic: IanS16 I see you have a UK Birdview DVDROM on your signature. Did this fix the Jap Satnav and allow you to use the Jap OEM screen? Hi mate, just bought a nissan partol DVD unit (the dvd drive behind drivers seat. Replaced the dvd drive but NOTHING else.. JDM screen etc. Only annoying thing is the Japanese buttons but its pretty obvious after a few times using it! And strangely enough quite cool
