  1. All depends how they do it in order to compare costs.

TWS fully strip the wheel down to bare alloy then powder coat so the finish is ultra tough.

Most mobile places and body shops, just paint them and bake them. Some don't even remove the tyres to do it and just do the front faces.

  2. Hi all,

Now the car has gone, my final mod is now up for sale. I've saved the best till last :teeth:

Full cat back Nismo stainless steel exhaust system. As most of you know, these are an expensive item but for me are very much worth it due to the sound it gives. It how the 350z should have sounded out of the factory, a wonderful almost warble like sound throughout the rev range. Its not "too loud" at all and for me was the perfect balance. I genuinely couldn't believe when the stock exhaust went back on Friday, the car felt totally silent. I cannot stress just how good this system sounds versus standard.

Condition - I am being totally honest and have highlighted all the bad bits and done my best to take photos of all the points mentioned below. It is very hard to photograph due to the polished nature of it so some of the photos make the dents look worse than they as they reflect the light.

The rear silencer is in excellent condition as a whole. However both tailpipes have very slight dents on the underside but these are not visible at all when fitted and are quite far along the tailpipes so the actual tips are perfectly shaped.

There is one small dent on the underside of the rear box (hardly noticeable) and again you can't see when fitted as its the side that faces the front of the car.

So to sum up all the bits that are on show when fitted are perfect (could just do with a really good polish and I dont have the correct equipment to really clean it up - mainly inside the tips).

The Mid section is all good, a few scrapes on the centre box but again, no cracks in any of the welds.

Y-Pipe is good. The flexi joints (known to be the weak part of the exhaust) are ok, you can see they have had a few scrapes but no big problems and again no cracks to the welds.

The system is 100% complete and does not blow at all so its a straight fit from the OEM system.

I really dont want to post this item. I appreciate Paisley freight ship it for not a lot of money but unless I read it wrong its not insured so really dont want to take the risk of an item of this value.

If you want to come and view the system then no problem at all.

I'm based in Cheshire. Just off junction 10, M56.

These retail for around the £1400 mark so its not cheap and they don't come for sale that often.

    £800.00
