  1. I have to say I am surprised this hasn't gone yet. You might be better off sourcing a Y pipe and selling it is as a complete unit. I reckon it would sell much quicker but I appreciate that does involve you having to shell out in the first place.

  2. Because I already had them from my Beemer and if you'd read the rest of the thread you'd realise that they won't look like that when I'm done with it.

There's a saying you know. If you don't have anything nice to say then don't say anything at all.

I appreciate opinions and constructive criticism but theres no need to be an ass about it!

It's alright mate look through any post he makes. He just moans about everything. I don't think he has ever made a nice or helpful post.

Not true at all. I just give my honest opinion.

Nowhere in the thread does it mention the OP already had the wheels.

I did read the whole thread and I know you the camber will be changed but I don't like the style of the wheel on a Zed, nothing to do with how they sit.

  3. fast car. much quicker then zed and E46 m3

The same engine and a bit lighter, how can it be much faster?

It would destroy a zed but so would the m3.

Maybe cos it "feels" faster than a 3 series? I know an m3 and a 3 series have little in common but its still a big feeling car and you can be doing silly speeds without feeling it.

Maybe so but "feels" faster is very different to the people saying its much faster.

  4. My cousin has just bought a Z4 M Roaster, in red with 19 inch CSL alloys.

All i can say is "what a car"!

Took me out in it and was nice enough to give me a go. Absolutely feel in love with it.

Makes the E46 M3 he had feel slow and the Z4 3.0si i test drove before buying my 2.5i gutless!

Not quite sure how it can make an e46 m3 feel slow, it's only about 80kg lighter

  5. Awesome cars. Had 2 and much preferred the pre-facelift one as it felt much more raw. But she may want a bit more refinement in which case get a facelift car. Cracking engine, gearbox and reliability. Just find a decent one and I don't reckon you can go too far wrong.

  6. It's the wrong decision, plain and simple. The manufacturer clearly states what fuel to put in the car so if people knowingly ignore this then I personally think they are fools and should drive something else :D

  7. What if a member owned the car ran it off 99 during their 2 years of ownership sold it to you but previous owners never and the car blew up on you. Would you blame the previous owner?

That's missing my point, its not who I'd blame its more the fact that we all join the forum because we enjoy and respect these cars so you'd hope they'd be well looked after. If someone is knowingly putting lesser fuel in to save the pennies it doesn't help the whole cycle regardless of who's owned the car before which is often impossible to accurately know the cars history.
