  5. I did this one time on the motorway when it was dark and in a blackspot because the car behind me was flashing his headlights at me (i couldnt tell it was a marked 5 series)... I thought he wanted a race, so i put it into 4th and got up to about 110 or so before he put the lights on. Pulled me over and said "Do you know what the fvck you just did?" I told him that because he flashed his lights i thought he may have been trying to tell me something was wrong with my car, so i wanted to make sure my accelerator pedal was working properly. He actually started laughing, said it was the most amusing thing he had heard all week and let me go because of that fact, after he checked out my insurance, and all of the other vehicle details of course, i almost peed my pants!

Test Drove a Ferrari 360 and didnt like it much to be honest, and there are alot of MR2's and 406's - running around that look just like it.

  12. Stay away from machargs nissan on royston road!!! Lol
  13. No, the accident goes against an individual driver, but will affect the policyholder's no claims. You can protect the policy holders no claims, usually this option costs about 10 - 50£ - I pay about 300 i think to protect my dads no claims, because he wouldnt have me on the policy without it (quite right i would say haha)
  14. No! haha, I do like cars, motorcycles and speed though - so most of my money goes towards what i just listed lol I'm sure if you ask most 19 year olds their insurance will compare to mines - I worked in insurance when i was younger, and, even though i didnt see any guys my age with a 350z i did see some rediculous quotes for Evos, Subarus and the likes for guys around 19 - 21 - i would much rather have a zed though
  15. Thanks buddy - yeah i am well aware that some people might think they should stay away from the car because of the engine troubles, but end of the day its a completely different engine with different internals so *shrug*. Ill have to wait and see what kinda offers i get, thanks mate
  16. Jesus christ.................................. I thought £1500 for my old 106 GTi was a bit steep. Try Adrian Flux on 08000 83 88 33. Try www.elephant.co.uk also stick one of your parents on the insurance it will reduce alot!!!! I'm already a named driver on my dads policy - even though the car is mine - i made sure the insurance company was made aware it is my name, and not my dads on the V5... But its still that expensive... My dad is with elephant (was with admiral last year) and i tried them both - both were well over 7 grand, perhaps its the area? I actually tried the following, and 4900 this year was my cheapest quote... Confused Comparethemarket GoCompare Moneysupermarket And the best quote i got was from the AA at 4,900£ :/ You got points or something??? Only got a speeding offence - should my insurance really be cheaper? even if i call up companies its always rediculously expensive...
  17. Ah ill see how it goes I did put "ono" so ill see see what kinda offers I get if any, haha Thanks bud
