Hey Guys! Had loads of crazy stuff happen with the car, engine blew up, crashed it into a large metal fence (whoops), so about 8,000£ later (could have bought another car for that ), multiple arnold clark rip offs and 3 weeks in the body shop here she is - I'm getting my V1 Spoiler fitted tomorrow but im happy with the work the bodyshop did for sure, so after that ordeal i thought i HAD to post up some pics! haha

thanks guys, im gonna shop around... im in the States just now (for 2 months) so im getting my parents and girlfriend back home to do all my car stuff for ma haha - i think theyre gettin a wee bit peed off as ive already had them take the car to the body shop and pick it up from the garage - now all i need though is to get the headlamp replaced... it still works, but its cracked at the bottom and i think it would fail an MOT? i fit the nismo version 2 front, 2 side skirts and 2 rear spats in my car... im talented though but yeh on a serious note it can be done, put your seat all the way forward, and then put the back of your seat right back so its resting against the little foldy down thing (my english is awesome isnt it?).

Hey Guys, I need a new passenger side headlight, and i know i have the xenon light (uk model)... but they are very expensive and i was wondering if i can buy the non xenon one? haha Stupid Question? Hey Andy! Im in Glasgow, Scotland I have no idea - i do thrash my car quite a bit, but i didnt think that would have done it... they are telling me it was because of lack of oil, but i always top it up and t he oil was between min and max before they took the engine apart... Warranty wont pay for it because i have done 39,000miles on the car, and the service was due at 36,000... i thought they were having a laugh! Gary

Hey Guys! I have been trying to source an engine for the Zed - I was wondering if anyone has any ideas as where to find a cheapish one (cheapest i have seen is £2,500 on ebay, thich i think is quite good...). Big end has sheered in half and Cylinder (sp?) Head Block is buggered, pistons 5 and 6 have also been starved of oil - apparently i can buy the small block (no idea what this is) for the engine and it may be fine, but there is no guarantee as they think metal shards may have sprayed throughout the whole engine, so they recommend that i just buy a new engine (and nissan want 10,000 for one ) Another question that i have is - Will i be able to sell anything from my current (broken) engine? - I have already spent a load of money on a clutch, flywheel and new bodykit for the car and ive recently paid for alot of things so funds are a bit low atm - wanna get this done for as cheap as i possibly can haha... Any help would be appreciated guys Thanks in advance Gary

I sincerely hope that was on a track! I have an R6 too and would hate to bin it at any speed, it would be scary as fook! 155 is near as damn it (if not) THE fastest it goes too Sorry to hear about the engine. I wouldnt call the engine oil hungry, mine has done 45k of which I've done 20k and it hasnt used any oil outside of the services yet and I check it every couple of weeks. Surely something is dodgy if it managed to only starve 2 specific cylinders? No idea mate - I seem to be topping mine up all the time! And yeah we will say it was on track haha... i got an absolute beltar of a tank slapper and had no damper, coundnt control it and veered off track - ill upload some of my wounds if anyone wants to see um , i was lucky...

Well i wouldnt buy it out right - i would maybe put down about 40k and take the rest out on finance... I start up businesses, expand them and then sell at a profit mate, or i employ a manager and some staff and keep it running if it brings in alot of profit, pretty simple... more people should do it haha. I started off with small online businesses, then i moved onto car washed and car audio installation and distribution companies... working my way up to owning a few resturants or small hotels now which i think would be fun - Recently binned my brand new R6 (motorcycle) at about 155mph (ive got it on video haha) and spent a long time in hospital, so i was a bit behind, but my target was to own a lambo or ferrari at 20 years old - i use material things to drive me in business, which i guess is sad... but it gets the job done for me haha

I dont know how this could have happened, they told me my oil levels were between min and max and i have never even allowed the engine light to come on - but they are telling me that the warranty inspector will take one look at it and tell me they refuse to pay out - they are adamant it was driver error but i know how oil hungry these engines are, and i know the consequences of not keeping the engine sufficiently lubricated... Anyone any ideas as to where i can get a second hand engine, as nissan want £10,000 for an engine, and im not paying that lol... Was hopin to have shot of it and have a gallardo or a ferrari 360 by the time i turned 20 but am not gonna be able to if i have to pay tens of thousands of pounds to this piece of crap lmao

Hey Guys! New update on the car situation... They have found the problem (after all that clutch and flywheel carry on), mechanic asked me to come down to the dealer and he then showed me the oil sump from my car with a few shards of metal in there (i think they initially thought it was the big end (?!?!)), but now they are going to get on to the warranty company and explain their findings to them... They are telling me that the main cause of this is when there is no oil present in the engine, but they told me that the oil levels are fine (i top it up regularly) and that they have no idea what has caused it... Does anyone have any idea as to weather or not this is a big job to fix? the garage is even more vague than before now (i think they are pi**ed because i reported them to Nissan GB and now they are carrying out an investigation). Thanks again for the help guys, now i think im gonna have to wait until an engineer from the warranty company comes out to inspect the car.

yeah why dont they fix the broken electric seats at the same time as there looking at the engine and charge you for that! fools!!! Haha i dont have electric seats... im only 19 remember, and i couldnt afford the GT model No the flywheel is 39000miles old and the clutch is 4000miles old... I am sure there is alot of wear on them but the flywheel is certainly not "smashed" and the biting point was fine, the take off was fine and it was driving fine - there was something rattling about in the engine bay though, and there still is! haha I reported them to Nissan GB and they said they are going to call to hear their side of the story and get back to me. Also seeked some legal advice from the RAC and they said the dealer is in breach of the Supply of Goods And Service Act 1982 ,which says that they are obligated to carry out teir work with reasonable skill and care. I guess i just have to play the waiting game now... PS - Anyone any ideas as to where i can get a bodykit fitted in glasgow that arent gonna screw up my car?, i got some panel beating done from a place in cumberauld that were quite good, ut their waiting list is 2 weeks long and im a very impatient guy haha
