The temp at idle should be the same as normal driving unless you have an airlock or a blockage of some sort or the stat is stuck open.
-
Sounds like a plan.
Let us know how you get on.
I have supplied and fitted a lot of the Xtreme kits and they all rattle a bit.
A change in your driving style, "keeping the revs up" will help with the noise.
-
Hard to say from your video, however, it is not unusual to get a rattle from a SMF.
Best to get it checked out though by a 350Z Indy that knows their way around a 350.
The kit that you have fitted is not really a road set up and lends itself more to track use.
Where are you based?
What garage fitted the clutch?

Fully working preowned are in stock at the minute and good to go same/next day.

Absolutely no drama, it will be fine.
-
I think that there is an overlap, but all the HRs definitely have the loom so you will have to carry a visual check to be sure I am afraid.
-
There are two types of rack for the 350Z.
The early cars were fitted with a standard hydraulic rack whilst the later models had electric assist.
Easy to tell the difference as one has a small wiring loom whereas the other does not.
-
Both of the brands that you mention will serve you well.

I use these when at track for a full day for underbody running repairs.
However, most are hydraulic and can fail, so extreme caution must be used as some do not have safety lock bars fitted.
A good set of 4 axle stands, mated properly to the underside of your car, on a flat, even surface may work best for the repairs that you have in mind.
How much do you want to spend?

I should have these in stock John as well as the harness kits.
Just to be clear could you post up an image of what you require?

There is no set mileage for bearing failure.
Also, the bearings are not a serviceable item, so they get replaced when they begin to fail.
Below is what I use in the shop all the time and what I sell on the forums etc.
Just drop me a PM if I can help further:
All in stock and good to go same/next day

Yes, the 350z HR Extreme SMF is compatible with other after-market or OEM clutch kits, providing it is a single plate set up.
At 30,000 miles it would be best to replace the cover, plate and also the CSC.
-
As has been said best to fit a UK battery and change the terminals and the clamping bracket and rods.
Terminals, bracket and rods are all in stock and good to go same/next day.

The only way to know for sure is to inspect the velocity stack.

For sale is a preowned 350Z HR SMF
Unsure of the brand but comes in at circa 17 lbs (7.5kg) so not too light so as to give off any rattle.
This came out an HR that I am breaking and the SMF was very quiet when driven prior to dismantling.
Comes with crankshaft bolts.
Ring gear and crank position pick up points are all as they should be with no wear.
