  1. That's the worse thing, I was being sensible (although slightly dim ) Just doing a right turn across a dual carriage way - although helps if you spot if a car is coming up the inside lane!! I understood pretty quick why insurance premiums are so high when you're young!
  2. Funnily enough I saw one the other day and thought wow haven't seen one of them for a while - looked mint as well which isn't bad considering it was a B reg! Did feel a tad emotional seeing it, so many fond memories until I wrote it off!!
  3. Welcome to the site mate - I started with an XR2 so you're not doing too bad!!
  4. Without being too nosey, I'd quite like to know how much these go for as I reckon I'll have 4 brand new to go in 3 months and would quite like to know what they'll fetch I've read many different amounts!!
  5. Really sorry to hear this, my worst nightmare and something that I'm worried big style about for my own car when it arrives. My drive is steeper that yours but goes pretty flat at the top quickly so part of the car is down the drive and part on the flat. My Merc at the mo doesn't clear it by much. Does anyone know what the lowest point is on the 350? Although I'm not sure how much that will help unless I suppose I work out the lowest point on the Merc and compare but then I imagine wheel base etc comes into it... Would never want to leave on the road, not when there is a garage waiting for the car at the bottom of the drive!!
  6. Yeah I think the remainder was spent on a few drinks last night! Hence I've only been up for about an hour!!

lol! The reason i asked is I've recently ordered one and wouldn't want it to become dated in a matter of months! But like you say I think this car will always keep its following
  9. Yeah was thrilled with that! Put £30 on him to win and took the odds when they were 9 to 1! That's my induction kit paid for when the car arrives!!
  10. Sounds I'll look forward to hearing the next vid!
  11. Just bet on Comply or Die! Would make for a good Saturday night if it comes in!!
  12. Is that pearl white? Only I've not actually seen a photo yet of one in pearl white! Are the JDM white ones pearl? Only they look a bit whiter if that makes sense!
  13. Am glad I posted this as I hadn't even considered the insurance problems! Aside from warming the car, it does look kind of cool to start it as you're walking over to it, say in a car park! Still re the insurance I'm slightly hesitant in persuing this idea... Thanks for your thoughts though guys...

2009? So does that mean the 350 will discontinue then?

When is it expected this will be sold in the UK?
  16. That's amazing! Would so love one!!
  17. They've gotta be replicas, god knows how much a set of AMG's like that would cost!!
  18. I ordered mine in white a few weeks ago and have been told it'll arrive early June but then needs to have my Nismo kit (bought from dealer) added in the UK which adds another 3 weeks! Feels like such a long time!
  19. Welcome to the site I'm also waiting for my car which is on order, it feels like time has actually stopped!!
  20. Ok thanks Phil, I'll add this to my list, am hoarding cash for when the car arrives!
  21. Some interesting stuff, thanks. I think I'll have a look at the prices as the thought of getting into a warm car on a cold morning is great! I know they warm up quick but even 6 minutes is awful when it's freezing! Having said that, the car arrives for the Summer so I suppose I don't need to be hasty!
  22. Hi Phil, These look awesome, def the best induction kit I've seen. How much are they? Including postage? And following on from the start of this thread, do you know if those claims have been validated by anyone? Am thinking of going with this for my new 350 when it arrives in June. Also, is it complicated to fit? Only it's likely my dealer will be doing it! Thanks
  23. Am so fed up with getting into a freezing cold car that I've decided when my 350z arrives in June (having to wait that long as it's new in white!) I must get remote start. Has anyone on here got remote start on their 350? If so what have they gone for and why? I know clifford do it although i'm not sure I can buy it on its own, i presume I need a Clifford alarm to go with it. Although do correct me if I'm wrong as Clifford are my preferred make! Any info greatly appreciated! Thanks
