Congrats fella, next rung on the ladder?
-
it has started coming back down now
domestic heating oil had more than doubled in the last year! i remeber when i started in this industry we could buy heating oil for about 12p a litre! todays price is 49p but was right up in the 60p's a few weeks ago!
Warning people we are getting indications its going to go back up again on Monday!
I'll be having to fill the heating oil tank again this autumn. Do the prices start going up closer to winter?

Works for me (FireFox 3.0.1), even Sarnies' requote! So i got to see them all again
-
Sorted, cheers for that!
-
I'm sure i've seen people edit their topic titles, how do you do it?
Cheers!
-
So thats where Im going wrong
I'm sure we could all make a good attempt at it if thats what we did for a job!
Maybe when the winter sets in and I'm weathered off all the time, I'll get round to giving the car about 15 layers of wax!
-
Microfibre's ?
Yep, already got them, and i've got a big soft drying towel coming too. I've been reading up on Detailing World, some of those guys have, well, OCD as they put it!
-
Ordered a few extra supplies in preparation for seeing the zed again next week:
Bilt Hamber Clay Bar
Megs Shampoo plus
QD spray
and Collinite #915 wax, as its supposed to be really durable.
Will be my first time with a clay bar, so looking forward to that. Should be a rewarding couple of days!

We could maybe have one or two months with montage meet pictures or something?

Hey! this is the 350z-uk calender, not the ARphotographs portfolio exercise!

Walibi World! Good theme park in east holland, my girlfriend certainly enjoyed it!
As for amsterdam, just make sure you get outside the tourist triangle (train station - Dam square - Red light district) as its much nicer. Can also recommend the Rijks museum.

Cheers guys, down in Kent today for 3 weeks now. Washed my Zeddy and put it to bed in the garage for the time being. Can't wait for my week off, think I might take some of Stans advice and go up to Edinburgh for a couple of nights.
-
Nothing wrong with keeping it standard mate

Nice little run out to Keswick today (Busy!) with a couple of friends. Zed still making my face ache with smiling
Spotted a Clio v6 mini meet - 5 mk2's, they looked pretty cool and let us out from the junction of hell!
Also collected my first stone chip (boo!) and a lot of dead insects.
Pictures you say? glad you asked!
Lovely pair of rears
Really very hot today
Two's company

Well, the first few hours of ownership are done, and all i can say is !!!
Haven't even had it over 4k revs yet (80 miles so far) but you don't need to rag it as it just launches towards the horizon in any gear! Only downside was that it started raining an hour after i drove away from the dealers Still, it does fit though the gate and snugly into the garage.
Speaking of which, Edgars have been fantastic. Aways kept me informed of progress and of course, got it to me early. Free bottle of wine too!
So then, more pics!
Home at last:
Meet your new friend:
You will fit!

Go and buy this months EVO magazine, 2nd hand 350z buyers guide in it. I would ditch that one, plenty of better ones about.
-
When is the 58 plate? Is it 1/8 or 1/9???
1/9.
The head is not winning at the moment. Heart is taking me to the dealers tomorrow afternoon! I'll just add it to the additional depreciation of buying a non-gt.
-
Congrats mate, i would call 10 years a proper length of time to wait!
-
Yeah, a vast modification to my bank balance!
This car is going to finacially test me somewhat!
-
Cheers, just keeping up with developments!

Would look great on yours....Lets face it, the nismos are just bloomin' awesome on any colour zed!Are there any pics of Simons red nismo zed to show him? The zed that Simon smashed into armco when he had the ESP off and then claimed it was oil/black ice/water/marsh mellows
Probably the pic that confimed my choice - Had this for ages:
All in good time, all in good time.....

Yep, this is one of the best forums around. I'm amazed by the lack of trollage. (Roots excepted! )

190 miles in, and my gate post has bitten, it was just waiting to do it you know...
That'll t-cut out!
So straight on the phone to the best local body shop, and its booked in for next friday Bit of a wait, as one of their guys is on holiday.
Anyway, for the hell of it, i broke out the autoglym just to see what would happen:
Its hardly gonna put the paint back on, but it looks a wee bit better. Sort of.
The worst part is you've only got yourself (and that f*ing narrow gate) to blame. Hopefully one mistake i'll learn from!
