Is there a guide anywhere to modify the Bose radio to take an input from a 3.5mm Jack style lead? Can anything be wired into the back?

 

Tried one of those tapes with a wire into the Ipod and its absolutely crap.

I had a tape thing for my ipod and it was a million times better quality than an FM Transmitter.

 

I think it must be down the tape device, yours must be a cheap one.

I used that and it was very easy - easier than the lengthy instructions might imply.

Hint, get a Phillips screwdriver 6 inches long or more and if it has a magnetic end, so much the better. That really helps when putting the centre console back together.

You can set the recirculation up to either manually provide fresh air (press the middle button until the left hand light is on) or recirculate air (press the middle button until the right hand light is on), or it can be set up to automatically adjust itself (press the middle button for a couple of seconds and then both lights flash twice and it enters automatic mode). Check page 3-3 in your manual.

 

Maybe you've inadvertently set it to either manual or automatic without meaning to?

Get down the shops for a cheap T shirt. Then you get to laugh at the others at work as you have a comfy dress-down day whilst they are all looking dressed-up.

I was with LV for ages and they were always the cheapest, then I moved house (all of 3 miles) and they would not insure me for under £2,000 which was a four-fold increase. It took all of 30 minutes to find a quote that was actually cheaper that my original one. Don't worry mate, just ditch them and do a comparison site OR call chris knott etc.

That is good to know. The ad says brushed alu finish, which is not the same as saying they are alu, just like they look like it (you know, like the difference between chocolate flavour and chocolate flavoured).

I had some stick-on ones like this. Mine were quite flimsy plastic film but once on they were fine. After a year I damaged one and had to remove them and now the cabin looks too stark again. I will put them on again but only the genuine Nissan ones for the better quality.

Mine were half this price too...

+1 on lynksys although they don't suit all (you know who you are).

Zxtel work fine and are a bit more advanced than linksys. Pick one up at currys for under £50.

Like Chris says, physically turn off the power to the router.

Once you have switched it off, give us all a break for a few hours then switch back on.
