  1. Never use anything but Highest quality J PEG's on my Nikon D300, you would be very hard pressed to tell the difference, i have tried RAW and Nikons NEF software, but in my opinion unles you plan on larger than A3 prints, it isn't worth it, even at iso 2000, the images are silky smooth, and VERY little noise :teeth:

  2. Drive straight away at sensible rev limits, about 3 thousand until the lump warms up, which in reality takes about 5 to 6 miles :)

With you there Sats  - and avoid any harsh throttle imputs until it is fully warmed up - from what I have read over the years that is the biggest killer of engine longevity.

Spot on EBIZED, spot on

  3. Funny that, i seem to remember something about that also ;)

Seriousley though, nice piccies, and i want to try some myself there.

Nikon or Canon are both good makes, i use Nikon because it's what i have done for a long time, you buy a few lenses, and then you are tied to that system [unless you don't mind losing a load of dosh changing makes]

But i'm used to Nikon now, Nikon D80, or Canon 30D, both excellent capable cameras, and an outfit of either, lightly used will be within the £500.00 mark, with some bits and bobs thrown in, enjoy.
