OT but are those tinted windows? :)

No, darkened them in photoshop :teeth:

Cool, i think the zed looks better untinted

    Tints are chavvy imo

Sarnie, i agree matey, it was done as an enhancement for entering into a photocomp to see if i could get it in a calender :)

Fair play bud, think it does enhance the pic but in reality think it cheapens the car :)

Hell, I want people to see me in my Tango machine :teeth:

Yep Sarnie, that's one helluva tango machine at that :teeth:

  7. I do like that colour, think it would look awesome after some effort.

Plus I guess you're unlikely to feel a huge difference with your high flow cats and plenum spacer as that would lift the standard power a tad? :)

Agree, it COULD look good with say a Nismo kit, or something a bit different, Do Luck etc, would be nice to see one not standard anyway :teeth:

  8. You didn't feel the difference? I had an 04 which had what, 284 bhp stock? The 07 has 313PS and rev’s much higher and sounds much better even though I’m planning a Nismo exhaust. Not to mention the different clutch.

The day I picked her up I found myself doing 220 kph before I realised I was way over the speed limit. It just wanted to keep going. My 04 never felt like that. At 200 kph in the 04 you knew it.

    Guy, hello.

I said it didn't feel MUCH different, i am an auto engineer by trade, and own and run a garage and MOT centre, i drive quite a lot of performance cars on a regular basis, my last own car being an M3 , yes it revs higher, yes there IS a little more grunt at the top end, but i personaly don't want to spend all my time at 7000 rpm, they are nice though, just can't justify the cost of changing mine, which has only done 26k for the new one, may change it for a GTR though :teeth: .

    Cheers

  9. Borrowed one for a weekend a couple of weeks ago, to be honest, it didn't feel much different to mine, although maybe the mods i have done make it feel and sound as fast, i'm not sure, didn't like the midnight blue they lent me though.will stay with my Sunset me thinks :teeth:

Here are a few piccies.woah, wont let me post piccies sorry.

Now, now ,jim, that's not nice ;):lol::lol:

It was a bit childish, cos I'm envious. The car looks great!

By the way, where do you get the Collonite?

:p Jim, H5, Andyc, collinite 915 as Gixxer shows you also where to buy it, it is really good.

H5, whats Jetseal, is it a wax?

    Cheers

    Hi Sats,

As GIXXER found, it is a sealant rather than a wax or polish. It seems to be a bit of a breakthrough - it bonds really wwell with the paintwork and provides a huge amount of protection for a really long time. The build up would be Jetseal - wax - glaze. Brilliant for wheels too. ;)

Was interested to see if you had used 476S or 915. I've not played with Collinite yet but have seen the results. B)

    Hi H5

Would like to try jetseal on my Nismo's, am using Poorboys wheel wax at present.

    SATS

It's made by Chemical Guys. Clean and Shiny have some stock at the moment I think. It would do well protecting the NISMO's (lucky g!t!) :p:thumbs:

Lucky git say's thank's very much, and i will give it a go :teeth::p:lol::lol::lol: .

  12. Would say that its as loud as you would want when you want but as Zedrush says not in a Corsa/Nova way. It really is worth it mate. You can also drive more subtly when required. Just done another 320 mile commute with the roof down yesterday and at 70 (ish) it is there but doesnt annoy, well not me anyway. B)

hmm, maybe mine has something wrong with it then, since even when I turn engine on it has a nice gargle, perhaps the high flow cats, plenum and induction add to that noise

Love the way, it pops and rumbles on the over run :teeth:
