Why are things never asd easy as it seems
-
So, before I even got my import I bought a UK Bose headunit on Ebay.
I've never fitted it, I asked the main dealer in Guildford to once, but they said they couldnt as I didnt know the 'code'
The guy who sold it to me doesnt exist anymore it seems, as this was 18 months ago, and I'm kinda thinking about doing it myself and just seeing if it works as mine has a really bad skipping habit when cold atm.
Anyone know anything about this mysterious code I dont have? or was it a story I was told because they didnt want to swap it for me?
Cheers
David
David, hi
There IS A CODE, i know this, as i have had my Bose lock up and eat my CDs Nissan had me wait for over an hour while they removed the unit to get the CODE, so they could order me a replacement, THAT WAS A MONTH AGO AND I STILL AINT GOT IT YET
Bloody Nissan

whats the injen like compared to the nismo ian ?
it looked and sounded great on marks but iirc he had sport cats on
Much deeper rumble on start up, similar further up the rev range, but again with a deeper sound to it, it also pops slightly on the over run.
Mark DID have the hiflows on at first, but he soon removed em, as he said it was deafening it's LOUD without them

Welcome Back Sats, Isn't your old Zed on this months page of the calender?

Ok mods so far, 06 model with 5k miles on seriously the truth, from main dealer, who sold the car to the first owner
Nismo V2 front bumper, Injen exhaust, flame burnt tips, Nismo side skirts, rear spoiler and spats, Ultralight GT11 wheels 20", tyres are Falken 452s in 245 35 20 front, and 275 30 20 rear, and i can tell you now, the ride is no harder than my other one was with the 19" Nismo's.
Looking to carbon up the interior next plus hard wire in a sat nav set into the cubby.

Hi Ian, glad to see you here again, nearly calendar time
I can see that while letting your old zed go the new one would definately soften the blow to say the least.
It looks fantastic. Not too late to get it up to Scotland in September

Funny, seem to have read this somewhere else

Don't worry, none of those things will make a ny difference, the oil will still be clinging to the slippy bits etc etc, but think you need to be mithering Nissan about you'r parts.
