Haven't taken delivery of mine yet... (sept 3rd can't wait ) Was wondering if anyone out there could take a look and see how much room there is in the drivers footwell for kick panel speaker builds? Will they get in the way of the accelerator, especially if they are to be angled?

Does anyone know how the bluetooth system works. More specifically how it integrates with the Bose HU (if at all) and how the muting circuit works. I'd like to put an aftermarket HU in and retain the factory bluetooth (mainly for the steering wheel buttons). I'm assuming the PAC audio stuff doesn't recognise button presses from the phone buttons on the steering wheel. Maybe it does! Anyone know? This would be handy as the aftermarket HU I'm thinking of also has bluetooth - but want to keep the buttons working.

Guys, if I have the Bose in my MY07 GT, is the surround exactly double DIN or do I need something else to make a double DIN HU fit? I'm looking at getting a Pioneer AVIC-HD3BT and need to know if I need a fascia fitting kit.

Has anyone successfully installed a 7" screen in a MY07 dash cubby? Thinking of replacing the std Bose with a double DIN sat nav unit with a second zone displaying DVD video (and maybe console, etc) in cubby screen. I love the Pioneer AVIC-HD3BT, just wondering if it's too deep for the double DIN space the Bose takes.

Hello folks. I'm a new member (my first post) but have been lurking for a couple of days and reading a lot!! I have an order in for an MY07 350Z and expecting delivery some time mid-September. Obviously I want to give the car the best chances in life and so I am after some advice. When is the first oil change service due? Is it 1000 miles or more like 10,000. Obviously I will be supplying the dealer with all oils and filters (and I won't be taking any crap from them on warranty issues) but if the first service comes at 10k miles I'd rather drop the oil and filter myself at 1,000 and 5,000 miles. I would also switch to a fully synthetic gearbox oil at 5,000 miles. Is this sensible?
