Not illegal to put on your car... Yet!, but illegal to produce... All new plates will be numbers only, with an option of the EU style thing on the left. No dealer tags or anything. Oh maybe the code of the manufacturer

+1 One thing I was always taught was to always try and drive to the car infront of the one infront of me... Makes you concentrate on whats happening on the road... And if you cant do that hang at least a cars length back so you can see the car infront of them.. It also amazes me why people brake for no reason, if your going too fast for your own ability, pull into the slow or middle lane and slow down, dont do it in the fast lane... There was a show on TV about the butterfly effect of someone braking for little or no reason and then the car (s) behind not speeding up to a decent motorway speed.. Its one of the main reasons for motorway congestion, not accidents or volume of traffic, breaking for no reason! And another thing (got soap box out now!) when they close a lane on the motorway because of an accident, why some people feel they can keep going to the last min to pull in. Was on the M25 a few weeks ago, notice for ages before about an emergency fast lane closure, traffic slowing but moving, pulled in from the fast lane where there was space, 2 BMW's (Suprised?) kept going in the fast lane, I could see the stranded car in the fast lane ahead, next thing is 1st BMW tries to squeeze into a space that wasnt there, clips stranded car and bangs into 2 cars in the middle lane, 2nd BMW with no where to go, clips BMW and goes into back of stranded car... Lucky the driver of the stranded car was standing in the central reservation away from the car. Unlucky for the beemers a police car was about 100m behind them... As I passed in the slow lane the police office was having a very stearn word and virtually every car passing had a few choice words...

It may have been, but was chosen quite carefully as the owners of all 4 cars post "cross code" But I do understand if its not used

I hope you mean mm Remember the guy that runs it is meant to have help develop the Zed so he should know the limits of the car. Also hes done loads of people off the Zed forums and I've not heard of anyone breaking anything yet. Yep, never heard of anyone damaging anything either... Colin did get in the Envy Z to give it go, shut the door blipped the throttle and did a full drift around a 200m 360 degree circle.... Total car control -

If you book up as a group (2 or 3 people) then it becomes a bit cheaper, you still get 1-1 tuition and the chance for some banter and the Caterham challange at the end is good fun!! Falkens held up well during the day, and the car also proved how stable and controled it is!. Colin is not there to break your beast, just show you what it can do... You will be suprised! Yep the 4 of us did Advanced Road whick included all the circuits... Alpine being the best... I never thought the zed could make a perticular corner at 70 but it does!! -
Looks great mate. Interested in how it fares with the poopcharger under the right hand vents. You got any rain covers for it when its lashing down or you not worried? Read a few posts on the US site about it not being an issue caused by rain, but mine sits outside most of the time so if I ever get one (!) I think I will be making some type of rain cover or atleast getting a car cover!

Did the same CAT day as Bobby, but not at the same time... Colin the instructor used to work for nissan test department and was involved with the Zed from the begining and played a part in the way the car is setup... You are well looked after and learn decent techniques that show you about fast road driving in an environment that is close to what you drive on a daily basis. You can then take this knowledge to the track! Rather than someone showing just how to drive a specific track. http://www.catdrivertraining.co.uk/ is the company and 01234 757633 is the number to book. If you have been watching the recent series of 5th Gear, the guys at CAT have been involved in that in various capicities! -
M25 is no better, I use the M25 and the M23 on a daily basis and in sections its a wonder their arnt more crashes.... Gets worse when the days get shorter... P plates are in the UK now but not sure if they limit you to a speed!

Oh just to add.... How many of us drove at 70mph during driving lessons and tests? No practice, take the test, pass, drive out and you can do 70mph (+) on a motorway??? And this nanny state worry about someone not being able to use a ladder the right way?

Best to stick to super unleaded 97 or 99 ron. But the ECU adjusts to 93 if you have to use it! Filled up tonight at Tesco, nice to see a reduction (with the 5p a litre discount too )

Middle lane sitters.... Trucks that overtake on hills..... Trucks that just indicate and pull out so not to have to slow down..... Foreign Drivers Taxi's People that brake for no f'ing reason... People that pay no attention to other drivers.... One problem is that most drivers on the road took their test when motorway driving wasnt a part of it... I think only a small bit is now... Very few people have decent road skills, I would go so far as to say 25% of all drivers.. Just wonder how many people would pass their test again after 10 years... Could be a money spinner for the govt but would save a shed load of lives... I could go on and on and on.... Poor family, unfortunatly isnt the 1st and wont be the last....

I used some of the 3m spray glue from hobby craft, good thing is you can peel it off if you dont like and then remove whats left with sticky stuff remover and no damage to the item you covered. You have to get to the point where the glue is almost dry but still wet enough so you can adjust the alcantera. The guys that do it for real, use a type of paste glue that look a little like honey and they rough up the part they are sticking too to get a proper adhesion.. As chris says, trial and error and start off with something small and reasonably flat!!

Shame you didnt put this up first before putting it on ebay... you would have had a sale!

Rare Silver BBS 19" RGR Alloys - Swapping for Rays
3FIDDYZ replied to newswseller's topic in For Sale
Do you mean the lip? Look about an inch or just under on the front and about 2 inchs on the back or just over... Just wondered as I use the term dish with mountain bike wheels! Look like they are a good fit for the Zed offset wise... Am tempted just for a nice set of winter wheels.... But I dont have rays... Just the standard 5 spokes...
