  1. I always travel along the A5 although can get busy in the summer, If you take this route you will pass the Bryn Howel just after you leave Llangollen. Just be careful as you come into Llangollen though, as soon as the road goes from 60-30 there is always an arrive alive van by the wild pheasant
  2. Totally your choice Chris, although the b roads are nice for the zed, but make sure you stick fairly close to the speed limit
  3. Different plane Paul, this is the one that lands at Airbus
  4. The only answer that i'm postive about is your rays and that they are replaced under warranty bud. Nissan as a rule while take some pics of your alloys and send them to nissan GB, you should get a reply within a few day as to whether they think they warrant changing (i know as i had mine changed)
  5. So what do I win? A photoshoot of your Zed.......
  6. Have just managed to push the mid pipe further on the bung so it is now well away from the cover......still clicking. Looks like a trip down to the garage.
  7. how do you mean loose ? its held by the pins ? By feel, there was a bit of play in the pads so i took them out and re-fitted them. Everything was ok for about 5 mins then the click came back So moving away from the pads i inspected the zorst and i've found that its touching the diff cover but i'm not sure it would make a clicky axel kind of noise as the cover is plastic and i physically cannot move the zorst by hand.
  8. Wheels off gain and found the back passenger pad loose in the caliper along with the front drivers side Quite an easy fix.
  9. Mike - are you sure that it is not the exhaust expanding/contracting that's making those noises, especially being new? Might be worth going to a quiet location on a gradient and with the ignition on/engine off, coasting down to see if the noise is there when you brake? Take care doing this with no power steering or brake assist on. Will go and try it Colin
  10. After messing about all morning i can now determain that one click is coming from the front and then the second one coming from the rear within about half a second of each other, the front always being the first click. It sounds like it is coming from the center of the car but can't be sure. Again it only does this under braking and when nearly coming to a complete stop. I've had the wheels off and checked pads and calipers and nothing looks out of the ordinary. Really baffled by this as i don't think i've ever heard of this problem, the only think i can point out is that i've just had a new zorst fitted and the clicking started soon after, i have checked that out to and i can't really see anything there either.
  11. I think you may be better getting a second hand oem and having the dc ready to go That way you stand more chance of getting immediate payment. Sorry misread your post, thought it was the dc
  12. The zed has a very smooth power delivery and quite often i've not realized the speed i'm doing and how quick i got there.
  13. Maybe a tadge unfair to try and compare the two cars, if you made the same modifications to the z S14 spec is: Power & Cooling Silkolene Pro S 10W 50 Engine Oil (Changed Every 6000 Miles) Apexi Induction Kit Apex Induction Box Custom Cold Air Feed Pipe From Front Bumper NGK BCPR7ES Spark Plugs HKS Hi Power 409 3" Exhaust System 2.5" Downpipe & Decat Pipe HD Stage 1 Chip Hybrid Performance Front Mounted Intercooler Sard Racing R2D2 Blow Off Valve Varley Redtop Racing Battery Walbro 255 L/PH Fuel Pump HKS Actuator @ 14.5 psi Apexi Turbo Timer Hose Solutions SS Braided Oil & Water Turbo Feeds Driftworks Magnetic Sump Plug Brakes Brembo 280mm 10 Groove Front & Rear Brake Discs Goodridge Braided Brake Hoses Castrol Response Dot 4 Brake Fluid Ferodo DS2500 Front Brake Pads Mintex Extreme Rear Brake Pads Handling Apex Coilovers Apex Front & Rear Upper Strut Braces Whiteline Subframe Locking Polyurethane Bush Kit Whiteline Front & Rear Anti Roll Bars & Polybushed Drop Links Racelogic Traction Control Racelogic Digital Adjuster with Launch Control and then added a turbo unit the tables may be very much turned.
