How's it going guys? I don't post here much, but lurk the odd time looking for Zed related news and interesting topics. This one caught my eye I have a photography business so I supposedly know what I'm doing with a camera I took the photographs below a little while back of my Zed and haven't got round to taking any more, but I've got loads of ideas! Link 1 Link 2 Link 3 Without wanting to look like to much of an arse I always put a copyright symbol on my images. So if anyone does want to use them just give me a shout, I don't mind but I always ask for a name credit when it's in print, etc. Another thing I always meant to say on the forum was that I would be willing to take a few quality shots of any of your cars if you fancy it. Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand it all makes sense now... When I bought the car there was a tape in the head unit, forgotten by the previous owner I thought. Well that is until I looked at it, labelled "Beethoven's Symphony Number 6", I thought it was a **** take. But there was also no tape in it... So the only device I have to connect to the jack to test it is my girlfriends little digital dictator thing, tested it with the tape carcass and now I know I have a line in of sorts, even if it's not on a dedcated aux input. Hardly ideal though, a choice of music or sat nav. The other thing I've thought of is a bluetooth connection. If I paired the sat nav with the Zeds phone bluetooth I wonder if it would output the voice via the phone system...? Any ideas folks? Thanks, D.

Guys, I have searched and seen lots of people saying that the Bose headunit doesn't have a line in, but when I bought my car it already had an "Ipod cable" wired into the cubby hole (without going out to look again, it's something like a 3.5mm jack)... So I don't own an Ipod, but I'm guessing this is a direct connection to the head unit. Will I be able to use this with a Sat Nav unit (Tom Tom or whatever) to get the directions spoken through the Bose speakers, rather than the crappy little speaker on the nav unit? Also is there anyway to wire into the mute function that the bluetooth phone uses? Then the music and voice aren't fighting with each other. Cheers for your help, D.

Anyone with a HR engined Zed can do that, I changed mine recently. I posted up how to do it recently. Its something like holding down both buttons for 5 seconds or something like that. I've searched looooads and can't find any more info on this. I think that HR engined cars are MY07? Mine isn't sadly, but I'd still like to be able to do this, I've tried with no success... Does the car need to be locked or unlocked first? Press and release both buttons at the same time, or one first? Cheers, D.

It's the same as yours but azure blue. Good to see a few Zed owners there, not many though.

I'll see you there lads, I'm on the 6.25am Thursday Dover - Calais ferry. I'm only going with one mate now, on our own in the Zed All the rest of our convoy backed out at the last minute. But I'm sure we'll see loads of other people on the way and meet up with plenty of people there.

Thanks Gus, that does help. Pity there isn't a specific touch up paint available. I had a look on eBay and the only one I could find looked as if someone had mixed it themselves - makes sense now.

Great, thanks. I know what you mean about not using the brush, unless you want massive mounds of new paint over the tiny chip then they are best avoided!

Has anyone tried getting hold of any brake caliper touch up paint from Nissan or anywhere else? I will call the dealers on Monday, but thought I'd ask here as well. My calipers have a couple of small stone chips that need to be tidied. Also - any opinions on the Nissan body touch up paint? Worth it for stonechips elsewhere on the car? Thanks, D.

Hi everyone, I've recently bought a Zed with 6 months warranty remaining. I want to get a few things looked at at an indy before going to Nissan (the car has a K&N induction kit and Eibach springs so I don't want Nissan claiming that the warranty is now invalid). Any suggestions on reputable garages in the Bristol area? Thanks, D.
