you can get a pc for about £120 now mate most pro's do use rotarys but they also use paint depth guages and a lot of experience this is awesome work http://www.detailingworld.co.uk/forum/s ... light=350z

looks very good mate the paint is anorexic on the zed, you would be safer with an orbital than a rotary but i guess you know that

got a popcharger and i'm happy with it but bigphil says the k&n sounds the same and is cheaper ? had a bmc cda on my last car and it sounded awesome imo cf covers for the battery etc would look with that engine cover rob v nice pic tim

if you want to do the reflectors you dont have to take the pipes off, the pic above is with the pipes on, you do get enough clearance

i've got 100's of pics but no one really has gone with a different colour (except paul)

Mine did this, and then one day it inexplicably started working again. Try doing a rain dance while rubbing your tummy and patting your head. I'm sure there's something like that in the guides section..... this must be done with your trowsers rolled up to the knee on each leg if its the BOSE system but you're ok to just tuck your trowsers in your socks for the base system

i really think it looks great rob, i'm ashamed to lift my bonnet now i hate the primer look of the paint under there aswell although it is shiney primer now another thing i do like is the way kev (envy) has used chrome braided lines to cover his wiring under the bonnet - looks really neat it would have to be a tiny random orbital polisher to get into the crevices under the bonnet, you wont get close with udm or a pc or similar

the rumours were true

it looks a lot more daunting than it actually is in practice, taking the bumper off, i reckon it took me approx 1/2hr to take it off but there is absolutely no other way, maybe it can be done on a jdm from underneath but no chance with a uk car the water bottles block the rear of the reflector

you dont need to take the liners out or the wheels off to get the bumper off
