  1. Ummm forgive the fng question boys but wtf does a ground kit actually consist of (roughly) and why would it have the effects mentioned by Jamie?

Basically its a bunch of very low resistance cable connected to key points of your engine and chassis to improve your electrical grounding, to basically improve electrical performance in key areas like your throttle body and ecu as the standard earthing connection leaves very little to be desired.

  2. Check out my tyre review.

I had the exact same problem when i got my Falkens a few week back. For the first few days they were like they were coated in oil and i had loads of oversteer but having bed them in abit now there sooo much better. Top tyre, just give it a week or so and you'll see they'll improve alot.

Just out of curiosity where did you get them from?

  3. Dagnabbit why do manufactuers do that, if I want a red car with orange seats, wtf can't I have it? Getting fashion advice from the company responsible for Quasssshhhiii or whatever the stupid thing is called yanks my chain

But yeah they seem to have gone for a totally Orange approach this time a la Focus ST

  4. Let's be crystal, the guy they caught was selling it on, the thief is going to court later

"The prosecutor added that another man from Deeside was due to appear in court charged with the theft of the trailer from Mr Keen's home just before Christmas 2006"

    So it's not all bad

  5. :welcome:

IMO, having taken both cars out on the track a couple of times, the Z is OK but it's not as fun as a VX. That said, I would rather eat a VX than do any serious mileage in one, it's a complete pain in the butt (literally) on the motorway, whereas the Z will eat long distances no problem, and still be massive of fun on the twisty stuff.

All in all if you're going to do track days regularly I'd get the VX, otherwise I'd get a ZED.

  6. ****er?

    Correction rich ****er

Just 'cause you've got money doesn't mean you've got sense. Tho I have to hand it to him, it is quite funny when they're parked side by side in his garage

  7. Well I promise, if I see you I'll wave...I'll be the one in a black 07 with the stupid grin on my face! :teeth:

Went for a cruise this evening (no not like that) god it's such an awesome car, I've had a few great cars but the Z (now dubbed Xina by my wife) is utterly awesome!

  8. There's a really cool pair of cars on Chenye walk (near the King's Road end of the mbankment) where a guy's got a Bently Continental and a DB9 with the number plates 2BE and NOT 2BE, very cool!
