well the chap i bought the car off gave me a spare set of redstuff pads and the discs were about £240-£250 ish i think for front and rears, not to bad i guess, they were the turbo grooved ones non brembo, and a jdm

hi all, i have had my auto for just over a year, i have a popcharger on already and was thinking of probably getting a full exhaust system fitted, i heard somewhere that jdm ecu's to not cancel out power gains for exhaust systems and induction kits is this true, also has anybody got any times made on 1/4 strips with their autos with or without mods, just so i know what i am looking to compete with when i next go to a show. cheers guys

oh b**ger i have just had a full set of ebc's delivered and all i wanted was a cheap as possible set,

i just recieved a set of ebc discs through the post todays and it has a mini guide to changing discs on the back. one part mentioned about measuring the rotation using a specific tool, (cant remember the name) and if it was out then take the disc off and rotate it to the next bolt, not sure if this could be an issue or not, also if you have been braking heavily then you could have warped your discs.

does anybody know what the semi auto z's run mine is pretty much standard but looking to get the usual bits, exhaust remap etc, already got a pop charger. also how do you race an auto not really had it long enough to rag the hell out of it from a standing start, someone said if you keep your foot on the break and rev it alot, this sounds like its just gonna do a burnout to me though

so ian would you of got alot more gain with a remap as you seemed to have everything else but didnt seem to get much more bhp than a standard z. i have an import z tiptronic gearbox, and i heard a rumour that the imports ecu's dont cancel out any upgrades you do such as exhaust/ induction kit etc, is this just a load of bull! has anybody got a dymo reading with a auto with a few upgrades like mentioned above

yeah i wasnt after something to extreme as i have the nismo kit at the mo which is quite a subtle kit and wanted to keep the front bumper and i thought this rear one would be quite a good match. cheers for your thoughts guys glad that there is no negative feedback

cheers pal me to i think its gonna be around the £1100 mark, i only have 3 years no claims and they are not protected so i dont really wanna tell em. could we not all start up a fund where every member pays £3 a month and then when things like this happen we are all sorted, any left over money each year would could spend on a p**s up lol.

im not having much luck, i basically drove my passenger side along a post the door is totally mangled, my nismo sideskirt is shattered to pieces and my rear quarter is pretty f**ked, (will post pics shortly). i was driving that night coz i was skint anyway and didnt wanna drink or get a taxi, then this happens, it looks really horrible. to make things worse i try to save myself some money by getting a 2nd hand door in the same colour, it was so hard to find 1 but managed to get one with very minor damage so that cost me £380 and when it got delived the whole edge where it meets the wing is all bent round on itself and the paint is cracked from where it was being couriered, when i phoned them up they said my dad should had checked it before he signed for it, my dad is a 70 year old knows bog all about cars and didnt fancy cutting all the bubble wrap off it while the driver was waiting. i am the unluckiest person in the world when it comes to motors as we speak my astra van is in the garage having the turbo done.

oh great i just signed up to waranty direct a week ago £30 a month and the list they give you looks like it covers everything, i'll prob do wot u did keep paying it till it go wrong and if they give me any pony excuses i will cancel it straight away.

i had a 240hp golf turbo, but it wasnt exactly an evo, but i much prefer my 350z i found it hard getting used to the rear wheel drive im still not used to it to be honest especially in the wet but apart from that i love my car.

well it wasnt me, but i know the place well they did a gtreat install for me when i had a mk4 golf, great work but not cheap. do you live in wycombe?

hi all, i have fitted a popcharger about 8 or 9 months ago and now when i accelerate at a certain point through the revs you can hear a high pitched noise coming from the throttle, if you keep it on that amount of revs it stays there, anybody else had this problem, or know what it could be, its not really bad but it just doesnt sound right. thanks

hi all, basically i need new discs, i already have a spare set of red stuff pads, i dont use the car for track days and need a fairly bog standard set of discs just to replace the ones that are on there at the mo, it is a 53 plate import, so will the discs be different from a 53 plate uk version or are they exactly the same and what is a good place to buy them from, im not looking to spends loads like i said above just want a standard set really. thanks guys

hi all, i have seen a few internet shops selling these replica sideskirts for approx £200, i already have nismo sideskirts (dont think they are genuine ones) but recently smashed up the passenger side so need a replacement, has anybody else bought a set for this price and are happy with them, i saw the geniunie nismo ones are about £580. dont really fancy paying that much. cheers guys and girls

hi, all due to a recent disagreement with a metal post, my passenger side of my car was badly damaged, basically i need a new door nismo sideskirt (real or replica), and there is a bit of damage to the rear quarter. my car is silver so would ideally be looking for direct replacements but may look at accepting anything dependant on cost. cheers guys and girls

hi all, i currently have a nismo replica bumper on the z but have damaged it slightly, but to be honest i was never to happy with the fit and the feel of it, everytime i clean it winds me up coz its to hard and sounds cheap. are the genuine nismo ones fibreglass or can u get them in plastic, i dont mind paying the extra. cheers guys
