  4. Scientifically it seperates the air strobe when it follows the contours of the car, by seperation air particals it divides itself and spreads over the surface area on the rear which in turn allows the car to be held down equally...thus allowing for better arodynamics when travelling at high speeds. god I can talk shite
  5. superb ! thats what i was after £30 its not worth getting my socket set dirty for that price did you get yours from Adam ? if so did you pay import duty on it ? i've had loads of stuff from the states etc and never paid ps. not a good day at work , can ya tell Fitting the exhaust is straight forward but as you say not worth doing it yourself for the price, its a like for like replacement. The duty is paid when the exhaust or whatever arrives at the UK airport, you get a call from the clearing agent and pay by card. The duty is obviously based on the value but as it is pretty well priced from Adam its not a lot. I paid a lot more than Adam charges for the exhaust and the duty was just over £100. Its a Nismo S tune cat back. cheers mart, some good info, what if Adam put a lower value on the invoice so to incur less duty ? would he end up in shawshank ? cheers Paul the other thing is Adam hasnt put a price, uk price seems to be about £1500 !! If you want to know prices and that pm Adam he wont say on open forum if you catch my drift
  6. Yes they work, at certain speeds it flips the car up in the air and turns it into a transformer
  7. Dont do it if you were tempted in spending for 1200 for a set of wheels speak to Adam and get a set of Jap spec wheels which will increase the price of your car come resale, and look the biz
  8. Let my brother drive my car back from the gym last night, as we pulled up at the lights a Supra TT pulled up by the side and the idiot driver started revving hard...idiot My brother and i looked at each other and both thought like we'd stand a chance beating this guy its a TT for crying out loud, anyway Dan took the ESP of took of from the light, down to the round about, somehow dan managed to get in front, went round the roundabout without slowing down at full wack, then the next one and the next one (heart stopped I freakin almost wet myself) then shifted out very quickly straight down the mini motorway , (guy was still getting around the second roundabout,) where we thought he is going to ruin us now, guy pulled up at the side on the motorway gave a thumbs up and let us carry on driving he stayed back and didnt overtake. Guess in the famous words of a great race car driver, "its not how you stand by your car, its how you race it." Vin Deisel fast and furious Guess its all down to the driver not BHP Disclaimer: we did not exceed 30mph at anytime and at the rounderbouts we were very cautious and the tyre skids on the ground do not belong to us Me on the other hand Im lucky to overtake a milkfloat
  9. Wow you have so much knowledge, and there I thought youd just be sitting at home with your colouring books painting by numbers
  10. Tyres are spot on, I have 285x30x19 rear and 265x30x19 front toyos. The grip is fantastic. When my garage (one that has worked on a shedload of 350z performance tuning from installing turbos dyno testing e.t.c, and exterior styling body kits) fitted mine, he did something where they put the tyre on in a reverse manner (no not put the tyre back too front) and kept turning it on the wheel so that it would need less balencing weight stuck on the actual alloy, he also managed to hide any excess weight from eyes view. The most important thing about getting your tyres fitted is that they dont scratch your alloys in the process. I know loads of garages who charge £10 per wheel to fit tyres but everyone I know who have been to them have some marks left on their alloys. Mine came out perfect not one single mark but cost me £70 for fitting them, but you pay for what you get imo.
  11. might keep it now sod the lot of you
