  1. Well I'm still mulling over this and still haven't reached a decision. One minute I am 100% ready to trade the Zed, the next I want to keep it as it is still head turner and everyone I know loves it. The thing is, I know I'll need to get rid of it eventually, as I tend not to hold on to cars for more than 3 years. The other thing is every time I wash it, I seem to have a new paint chip! I hate the paint on the Zed, by far the worst paint I've ever seen, in comparison my Honda was bullet proof. I've been doing a lot of research on the 'ro (as they appear to be called) and mpg is not far off the Zed...especially with the Wortec exhaust (£1800 ) fitted. I like the fact there are only 1000 in the Uk too. Servicing is buttons, but the nearest decent place is aparently 300 miles away. However at £120 every 10,000 miles, its bloody cheap. You can buy service kits from specialists, then either do it yourself or take it to a trustworthy garage The missus is going for a test drive this weekend, so we'll see what happens. I honestly feel stressed out about this..... I thought getting a new car was supposed to be enjoyable...
  2. You'll need to invest in a warm jacket though
  3. ...hmm forget the square head, just counted it has ten points. Looks like a Torx drive, but they have 6.... It's a spline head EDIT - 10 point may be a special one though...
  4. ...went twice there. .... EDITED and deleted 2nd post
  5. Does a square headed tool not fit into this type of bolt.
  6. Yip.... but if you've got it, you may as well spend it on something you like
  7. Superb Andy! Hope the game is as good as your car
  8. My mate has one, he swapped his newer CTR to get it. Seen the new one? ....well it's called a civic, but has 225bhp and is supposed to be great. £22k imported though
  9. Exactly ...come on guys this is what "search" is for
  10. Try this... Seriously though, a loose connection could be the route of the problem, the alarm is a bit exposed IMO and could get a knock.
  11. In a word... no Hey, thats just my opinion, if you like, you get.
  12. For that price it's maybe worth a punt. If it's bad, get a respray, it probably still works out cheaper than walking into a Nissan dealer here. I've bought stuff pre painted from other US Nissan outfits and not had a problem.
  13. Yip, I've bought stuff off them, no probs. Not bought painted items though. Watch yourself with Nismo spoilers, as some don't cover the existing holes left by the oem one. I'm sure someone on here which ones fit and which don't....
  14. Especially when you debadge them. . . .

Too much IMO, power is nothing if you can't plant it. Exactly - and if you used that power for much of the time you would need to plan trips via tyre outfits They'd have to come to you as you are just sitting there in a constant wheel spin

I've only heard good things about the Mazda, looks ok too. It's a bit different to the norm, ie st, VXR & Type R even a Golf GTI.
  19. As you say Digsy, I'd have a look at the tyre pressures first. No rain here today .......was yesterday though. I have felt the back end light now and then and can never really put my finger on why, although the back hasn't came out unless it is wet.
  20. You've just gotta look at it from the right angles
  21. No, no he got lost on the way there. He had sat nav on the way back though Just kiddin' GIXXERUK, glad you've got a z now, sounds like a good one too
  22. ...hey I've seen that Porsche GT on the road in Cambridgeshire....
