My 08 350z with 3800 miles on the clock has the same release bearing / input shaft baring rumble in neutral with the clutch up. I've been told it's a Z thing
-
I might be able to meet up. The diary is clear at the moment
-
The sign needed a touch of updating I think!
-
White really suits the Z. It's now one of the best looking zeds I've seen. - V jealous.

How regular? 1st Sat of the month sounds like the sort of thing I could commit to for the majority of meets.

I love that track too and I'm no spring chicken. Here's another for us oldies:

Welcome. The fun has only just started.

This is the tune for summer with the top down.
Not the live version though
On the motorway you need to get the white lines passing in time with the music for a real fun experience - just keep an eye out for speed camera vans though

I'm off to a forest rally driving experience in a couple of weeks with expert tuition in a Subaru Impreza Then I'll be looking to do fast road and limit driving tuition probably at Castle Coombe circuit. I'd like to do a few laps with the Stig but I expect he's a bit pricey for me. Any other recommends are welcome.
CaptainSensible - I'll drop you a PM if I manage to sniff out some options

I'd love the opportunity to drive my 350z on the limit with confidence, to be able to bring out the best in the performance I've invested in. I'm not a bad driver and I love driving fast when it is safe to do so. but I'm no doughnut king though and I'd like to be more in tune with my 350z. Does anyone have any recommends for driver training within 30 miles of Bristol? I'm not going to start drifting but I do want to enjoy switching the esp off from time to time.

I just paid £18,500 for an 08 roadster with 3k miles on the clock and I bet within 3 months it would be worth just £17,000. But I'm in for 2 years so the market now doesn't worry me at all. I'm expecting £2.5k/ annum depreciation.
-
Drop - anything within 3 years old will see a drop. The older ones won't be affected.

These are the originals..

They are cast metal with glass enamel but a bit pricey.
-
Let us see what these things look like with a few pictures. I might well be interested.

Gorgeous car. Are the smoked side reflectors standard on the GT4? They look very cool.
-
Me too
-
I'm really near Bristol and am open to the idea of a regular get together.
-
Yes but it does come with free postage and packing. Do you get the front and back for that price

I'm sure I'll get to love the new bonnet too. I'm still missing my Azure GT. I wish I could have kept it.

P21s is what I used on my Azure but I found the Autoglym SRP followed by the Autoglym Extra Gloss Protection lasted way longer and had a deeper shine. The trade off is the EGP leaves a white dust on your cloths at the removal stage that can static back onto the paintwork and the EGP needs to be on the car for a couple of hours to 'set' before buffing to perfection. I even recon the Autoglym products give a superior finish to that of the Chemical Guys Wet Dream (WET MIRROR FINISH ULTRA SLICK NON-STICK GLOSS MAGNIFIER) That's what they call it! I used some of this stuff on my new Z and it's okay but not deserving of their hype. I tried Collinite too and found it a bugger to use. I have a whole tin sat in the shed virtually untouched.
