  1. Try A-Plan in Thatcham. They got me £599 through Markerstudy with protected no-claims in an average area (33yo - 9Yr NCB tough ), just £200 xs too The number for imports is: 0845 0711234. They're open until 12 today. Good luck

  10. Would like a set of standard 17's or 18's if anyone has some that want to sell for a sensible price ? Need to be in very good condition with tyres please. Please PM or email with offers and pics if you have them. I'm in Kent but happy to pay for a courier to collect. Thanks, Dunk
  11. Hello Andy, You still based on the island? Sorry, this isn't really the place, but can you source any Nismo exterior kit for the zed? I'm just over the Swale so it would be handy Cheers, Dunk
  12. She's getting closer . . . I can almost taste it
  13. My budget is around the £15.5k mark, should be enough for a good early import already in the country. Happy with a silver one if it comes along
  14. Thanks for the comments, most appreciated. Think I may steer clear. He wasn't really clued up on the car to be honest, seemed to like driving them but didn't know much about them. Now has a TVR Tuscan. There was no service book, just some receipts. But there was a Japanese auction report which looked fine (B grade), and a BITMA certificate plus details from the importer so it looked all genuine. I think with all the niggles in the back of my mind it may be best left alone Shame as I can't seem to find a good one in my price range.
  15. Hello again , just got back from seeing the car and hope you can help with some queries I have. He says that the odometer is reading KM's (about 22,000 kms), should this not have been converted to miles as part of the SVA? Or does it continue to clock up in KM's ? There wasn't much in the way of service history. Would there be any books or anything with it ? He bought the car at 4500kms landed in the UK, but has only had one service since, surely should have had more ? He mentioned the axle click (a couple of clicks when pulling away, no more), but didn't seem to think its a problem. Should I be concerned ? Certainly needs 4 new tyres as they look like the originals which are worn and a little cracked, didn't look feathered in particular, just worn. Body work all looked immaculate. The dash was covered in back2black Can't stand that stuff, put me off. What do you think, walk away ? Or is this par for the course with an import ? Appreciate any advice or answers to the above questions.
  16. Thanks again to all, very helpful bunch AndyC - Your misses (in the sig?) is one fine looking lady. I'm guessing she's a model, if so good luck to her in her career
  17. That seems to be most of the regulars, many thanks Sarnie & Liam, is that the Nismo spoiler on your beasts ? Gives me a slight twinge of the trouser
  18. Thanks for the welcome. Yes, I did have a laugh at the 'Benbow brakes' I've had a good read of the JDM section, lots of great info. Just one thing I'm not sure on . . . servicing. What service is it likely to be due next ? Anything major to be changed/checked on the horizon ? Just want to make sure that there are no big bills arriving too soon Should I be concerned that its an early car (2002), or nothing to worry about ? Thanks again for your help.
