April would be better for me or the end of may

Theres a few houses around here that have had them up since the start of November Ours will be going up after the 11th as Ive got that week off work

Theres not that many bargains on Ebay at the moment, More people are getting friends to bid against items for them so they go for more. Im fed up of watching an item upto the last few minutes waiting to get a bargain only to be outbid at the last moment by a new bidder that has paid over the odds for it .

Im watching quite a few items for the zed at the moment but i doubt that ill get any of them, Maybe im just a bit tight when buying of ebay but im always getting outbid on something that is not worth what others are paying

Ive got a few things to sort out but im hoping I can order them next week Ill let you know by midweek

One of my colleagues had her car broken into in central Glasgow last week. They used a jemmy or crowbar to smash the window and took her satnav from the glovebox. She had no telltale suction pads or anything on the windsreen - they were trying on spec just to see what they could get. The police said she was lucky they got her satnav - if they had found nothing, they would have smashed up her dashboard just for the hell of it. Many other cars in the same street had been damaged in that way. Bas****s. It's cost her the £300 excess on her insurance to repair the car and relace the satnav.

Its a disgrace, These people very rarley get caught & the ones that do either get a slap on the wrists or some free heroin . I got really lucky and have learnt my lesson about leaving things in my car. Thankfully its a company car so i didnt have to pay a penny, though the logistics department are getting a bit annoyed with me

I had a semi-auto a few years ago that couldnt be held on foot brake on a slope. I always put it down to the fact that it was more like a manual than auto with it being paddleshift

I drive up to 20k miles a year but want to keep the Z for the long term so use a 2nd car and use the Z for pleasure driving.

 

1900 of the miles were for my summer holiday so I am doing really well. My original target was no more than 9k p.a. so I'm pretty happy.

 

Also since I put what I used to save into a bigger house as an investment last August, I no longer have the money to replace the Z so I want to keep it for a long time so wll need to control the mileage.

 

I'd like to get a runaround because I'm piling on the mileage on the zed, but I know I'd be driving the other car, hating it, wishing I was driving the zed.

 

You would be surprised. I used to have an MG ZR which was basically a heap of junk even although it was a 54 plate. I changed it in June for a new Clio Campus Sport 1.2.

 

I love driving the Z, but because the Clio is such a good car to drive I am more than happy to drive it and it also makes the times when you do drive the Z more enjoyable and you appreciate it more. When I was in the MG, I hared every minute of it.

 

Until this week as I have been on holiday, I hadn't driven the Z much in the past 5 weeks, used less than a tank of petrol.

Same here. My zed hasnt been used since Sunday & wont be used until Friday next week. Asmuch as I love the zed it was never an option as an everyday car for me, partly due to my heavy right foot . Unfortunatley I work every other weekend but every call out I attend it makes more money for Zed goodies

Ive had that in some cars ive owned. Ive had some cars that need the ignition on to power any lights and some that you can use the lights without them

Speaking of yummy mummies... I visited a place called the Zoom Zone with my sis + her kid... I had no idea how lovely some of these young mums are!

 

I'm trying to find a reason to go back there to suggest they open it on a night, young mums only, with the big rubber slide coated in baby oil! YEAH BABY!

Having a perspex window fitted this morning & getting a quote for the front bumper today aswell. Need to wait then for them to order a window and the get that fitted when its in stock
