  1. Seems a reasonable deal as long as he's looked after it, and not one of the sort of people who rag their cars as hard as they can constantly, then just sell it and a buy a new one a couple of years down the line, I'd check for signs of harsh treatment. Roadster chap, roadster I've not driven one, so I could be talking ****. But I read that the Roadster completely ruined the Z, and really isn't very nice to drive compared to the coupe, not to mention it has a fat arse Which could well happen, and does happen to alot of cars that are coupes turned convertible. Or is that just a load of bollocks? Sorry, it's a bit OT.
  2. It's meant to compete with 911s and the likes. So I wouldn't expect it to be cheap.
  3. That's awful mate, the paintwork alone is worth more than the lives of these useless scum, most likely sponging off benefits. Just a shame you didn't catch them in the act. I can think of lots of joyful ways to end their pathetic little existances.
  4. I wouldn't trust any of your average high-street garages. The numpty's can't even install a hub cap properly (true story) A specialized garage or the Nissan dealer (mainly because they'll be in more **** if they mess it up) are the only places I'd trust to do it.
  5. It's going to go down well with hip-hop artists
  6. Hmm, looks like stillens aren't to great after all then, and like prescience said, on their website it only mentions Stage 2 having a warranty. Shame really, since most of the reason I want a supercharger was because of the twin screw and blower power delivery over a centrifugal, I'm sure a centrifugal will still be nice though What would you say is the most reliable of the centrifugals then? I'm taking a guess at HKS? Cheers.
  7. Well done everyone. I'm new and haven't been around here long, but it's nice to see a community reach their 1,000th member. You guys deserve it!
  8. Cool, thanks for the help. I'll look into the Stillen warranty then, since depending on what it covers, it might be the way to go, if I can find a decent bonnet.
  9. Heheh, sorry Do you by any chance have a dyno reading from your Z before and after your supercharger? It would be nice to see what sort of power gains it gets lower in the rev range, since that was an appeal of a blower/twin screw type, having the boost much earlier, all the way to the top end. Yeah I noticed that on the links you gave me, it's putting more stress on the engine aswell then. Yeah the bulge in the bonnets just looks wrong on a Z, if I could find one that suited it, I would possibly go the Stillen route. From what I gather, a blower type would be the most reliable, but would it be the most reliable in terms of the engine aswell? I want to get the most reliable system I can really.
  10. Why research when he can cheat and ask you Well, a 'thanks for your efforts' would've been nice Sorry mate, didn't mean to come across as ungrateful. I appreciate you helping me out
  11. From what I gather, you need to use a modified bonnet to fit the Stillen supercharger in the engine bay? Which I think looks awful, unless of course I can find a bonnet that suits it, in which case I'd go the Stillen route. But it's the boost throughout the RPM range that I want really, which a centrifugal can't seem to deliver, and is essentially just a belt driven turbocharger, so there would still be some amount of lag, so they seem to be the worst of the lot. Or am I wrong?
  12. I'm after a twin-screw supercharger really, but so far I've only found one, which isn't suitable. I want to take the engine up to 380 to 410BHP, I don't really want to go over 410BHP for the sake of the engine, and the fact it'll need more internal mods if I go to much over 410. But all I seem to be finding is the HKS centrifugal kit. Like I said, it's not urgent, it's more research for the moment, of who supplies them, and where, for how much. I've got some other mods lined in mind first before I get to a supercharger, but I thought I might aswell look for them early
  13. Poor Z, I hope it wasn't any fault of the driver, I'd hate to see it destroyed because of some tit driving.
  14. I'm sure this has been asked before, But I had a look and couldn't see anything. So here goes, I'm having a hard time finding superchargers online, in the UK. So far all I can find is http://www.tdi-plc.com/350Z.html Which isn't really what I was after. I won't be buying it for sometime, so it's not really urgent. But it'd be nice to see what I can get my hands on in the UK.
  15. Keep it, and put the other one back on, in my opinion. It looks like a big fat lardy arse without the badges
  16. Didn't catch the year, spotted it driving past in Clothall road in baldock in the school rush. Belong to anyone here?
  17. 40 in Cambridge today, no pictures though

    astra vxr ;)

Oi, we'll have none of that. 350Z rocks our boxers and you know it.
  19. Well some good old fashioned T-Cut and it's hardly visible anymore, and that was just a quick rub down with it, when some time is spent on it they should be gone completely, wasn't as bad as it first appeared
  20. Well they do all the body repairs for the cars before they sell them, and fix any scuffs and whatnot at every service and MOT and always do a good job, so it's worth seeing if they'll do it and how much for.
  21. Do you think T-Cut or Meguiar's ScratchX would be best? If it's going to end up costing alot to get the equipment to get it out, it may end up cheaper and easier to just take it to the mitsubishi dealership over the road where it was bought, what do you reckon? They valet and clean up the bodywork at every service and MOT and seem to do a good job. Thanks for the help everyone.
  22. Well, some **** in the supermarket decided to key the door panels, i rubbed it with my finger and some of it came off, so it doesn't appear to be to deep, I wondered if there is anything you guys can think of that'll get it out well? Some Meguiar's clay or something? Thanks The smudged area is where I tried to rub it out http://www.twobeds.com/upload/userfiles ... cratch.jpg http://www.twobeds.com/upload/userfiles ... ratch2.jpg http://www.twobeds.com/upload/userfiles ... ratch3.jpg http://www.twobeds.com/upload/userfiles ... ratch4.jpg http://www.twobeds.com/upload/userfiles ... ratch5.jpg
  23. http://www.vanwraps.co.uk/ Maybe give them a ring, see if they'd do anything for you? They've made alot for Gumball cars this year, and also did one of my sisters cars when she worked at foxtons, they seem to do a pretty good job, might be a little pricey though, i'm not sure.
  24. Well it was a nice day yesterday, so I walked over the road to Marshalls and decided to take some snaps. I've never used the camera in this enviroment before, so they didn't come out as I wanted, slightly grainy, i'll remember to change the settings from auto next time So anyway, here they are (The lighting effects on the last pic were added in Photoshop) Someone walked into this shot so I had to crop them out.
  25. I think i'm already pretty convinced. It's just the case of getting the funds now
