Eh? Not quite sure what your saying there? The BMW stigma is due to the non indicating ****er drivers who probably are all non owners as most are probably company or lease cars!!! I would never scrimp on tyres. Ever. Regardless of budget. I would/ will only every buy Michelins or Pirelli's. On any car. You can scrimp on brake pads, disc's, petrol, wheels, zorst, ICE or anything else but not tyre's IMO. 300bhp going through two wheels means very limited contact with the road and once the weather gets dodgy then say goodbye to the back end. IMO this is one of the most important choices when setting up a car. If the Toyo's and Falken's were £800 a set then nobody would buy them, they only do because of the price/performance ratio e.g they are cheap and are not TOO bad a tyre. I have a brand new set of MPS2's on my G and they are like glue
