  2. Thanks all - That's great news - I've got some K&N oil coming - shame it's not vibrant blue thoug h like the JWT oil Cheers for all your responses Reece
  3. Hey all - I'm trying to find out where I can get some of blue pop charger recharge oil spray - JWT cannot ship it to me as it's a pressurised container I understand why they can't but it doesn't help me!! Does anyone have a UK source so I can buy a few of these sprays????? Thanks all, Reece
  4. Sorry for the delayed response bud, they only had it for 10 days and I think Monday 16th was the final day - it was at Glyn Hopkins Romford. If you give Adam Gray a call on 01708 772 704 then he may be able to tell where it is now or if they're getting another one! Best of luck
  5. I test drove one of these on Friday and can honestly say that it is a big step on from the 350 both in terms of performance and quality of the interior - it now feel like a top end nissan and not just the sports version! I loved it & it does look so much better in the flesh than in the pics - I am phoning nissan before the end of business on Monday 16th (took the weekend to ensure I'm not being rashional) and will be ordering the 'Ultimate' with all the boxes ticked as I got fed up with having the 350GT without the sat nav or rear parking sensors and so will be buying new to make sure i get what 'I' want! Still cannot decide on Black or Silver though???????????????????
  6. I had an uncle who had a stroke and it took a good 6 months before he was back to a recognisable state - however against all the odds he got back to almost perfect bar a slight stutter which in the grand sceme of things is amazing. Best wishes for Phil, you and your family, hang on in there. Thanks for taking the time out to keep us updated, its much appreciated.
  7. Hi All, Just wanted to see what you all reckon on the Plenum Spacers available and which will give me the greatest power gains when oupled to the JWT popcharger???? I have a Skunk Spacer already but want some opinions on if there is a better one I could fit??? Thanks in advance all Reece
  8. I've only just found out what's happened and would like to pass my best wishes onto both Phil and his family - Phil is a true gent and highly respected on the forum - as I read through the pages regarding his well being it's good to see an improvment and keep it up Phil - we all look forward to seeing you back on your feet & the forum ASAP All the best Reece
  9. I've been waiting to see what the outcome of this zorst is as I'e got my pen & cheque book poised for a purchase, but wanted to see what you made of it first???? Any feedback from the last couple of months?? Hope you're both enjoying the zorsts
  10. I've brought one from BigPhil and love it, sounds immense, at about 3,500rpm you get an almost whistling sound then over 4,000rpm and the engine just roars better than ever before! It will hit your MPG though as you'll find that for first 3 months you'll drive keeping the revs high just hear it all going on!! I'm not a mechanic by any stretch, never go under the bonnet other than to check engine fluid levels - but even I managed to fit it in under 45 mins, someone who knows what they're doing would do it 15mins Enjoy
  11. I used these disks; http://www.zfever.com/catalog/default.p ... h=52_64_55 although they look slightly different to the illustration (better than the illustrations IMO) and in total cost approx $450 (£225 including import tax, freight etc). I spent a fair bit of time talking to the guy @ Zfever before sending this amount of money offshore and found out that he supplies the local Nissan main dealer with upgrades. The pads are cross drilled and also have grooves cut into them, they not only brake well - they also look awesome through the alloys: http://i288.photobucket.com/albums/ll17 ... 134701.jpg compared to standard disk: http://i288.photobucket.com/albums/ll17 ... C00545.jpg WIth EBC yellow stuff pads which I have used for 2 yrs now without any issues - I don't track the car, but I have some very fast roads round my neck of the woods and lets just say the Z gets a good workout and this combo of brakes has been fantastic and improved from the standards no end. How they would fair on the track I'm not sure, the disks would definately take it.....the pads - I cannot comment.
  12. Sorry rmmackfc, that's confused me, I think I've miss understood you ; the only place that I've been able to find the wiper blades is through Nissan at £50 and I wondered if anyone new of an ind. retailer who may sell them cheaper - if not then back to nissan I go, I just wondered if there was another option. Can you shed some light?
  13. People see the cars at low money, expecially imports, buy them and then realise that they can't afford to run them. My fuel bill has gone from £120 per week to approx. £160 , this is without any other of the associated running costs. By the way, does anyone know where I can get wiper blades for the Zed as Nissan charged me £50 for the two fronts???? Cheers, R
  14. Hi Andy, I brought my 350 when I was 23 and paid £1200, then at 24 it dropped to £950 and now I'm just 25 its down to £750 and the 25 quote is with 3 points for speeding - I blame the Z - they cruise too fast so easily you don't realise you're doing the speed (even the policeman said that, still booked me though ) - got tagged at 96mph on the A130 in Essex, I was lucky to only get 3 points - so be carfeul if you do buy a one! Problems...none really...I had a leaky rear shock absorber after only 30K miles - but £80 for a pair off of an 07 Zed from BigPhil @ ESR and she's good as new Just keep in mind that everything to with a zed is not cheap, parts, labour(from nissan) and I think everyone on here will agree when I say they do enjoy to drink the super unleaded!! I use mine everyday and put approx. £140-160 per week in with current petrol prices If you do get one then you'll love it forever!
  15. Crikey it's the Rozzers I'll change it now
  16. No idea - I did it as link to the image on my photobucket page so it doesn't take up any space on the 350Z-uk server or maybe I've just been lucky......shhhh - keeping my head down
  17. I wouldn't worry too much guys, I've used EBC Yellow Stuff Pads for the last 3 years and never had a problem, they bite well from cold and they stop you hard enough to make your face distort I have never had any squeaks or squeals from them either and the dust is about the same if not then slightly less as the standard pads. You'll have to draw your own opinions on them but in the comfort that if you do brake then you should stop Admittedly I haven't put the pads through a full days track test and I would imagine that after 6 hours of heavy track use they wouldn't be as good as they were to start with, but for some very fast(motorway speed) street use they'll be fine
  18. Welcome, Welcome, There is loads to be learnt from the forum, some very good contacts to be made and some very handy tips also. Enjoy the forum Just keep an eye out for the coppers - I lasted 8 months before being tagged on the A130 The Z does 90-100mph without even thinking about it so be aware as it's not until you look at the speedo that you realise what speed you're doing
  19. I haven't got a clue if we would need a photographer, at the moment it depends on how many people turn up, I need the numbers to grow to make it worth the serious amount of planning that it will take me I think we need to be up around the 20 vehicle mark before I'll commit too much time to it If things come together and get rolling then who knows we may need a photographer if everyone invites some 350Z drivers to join so that we push the numbers up quicker then we'll know where we stand for getting going.
