  1. Its a Nismo version of the JWT popcharger. Gains are hard to quantify, but I assume it makes the same sort of noise as the JWT. Ah, so now I know what a JWT popcharger is!! Anyone got any pics of the JWT (what does that stand for??) ? Yeah its Jim Wolf Technology. Guy in the states who has been creating performance part for Nissan's in the states for years. Site is here: - http://www.jimwolftechnology.com/ Actually popcharger is here. Basically a form of air intake filter that fits onto the stock intake tube. Has pic on here as well. http://www.jimwolftechnology.com/customer_part_detail.asp?PartID=350
  2. Yep. I'd defo be interested! Always wanted to do this and after reading some of the Evo reviews of the passes........ mmmmm lets go!
  3. We all know Digsy is going to trade his Zed in one day for one of these......

Really Tim? I think the front end if awful....... makes it look like a hoover! But each to their own I suppose!
  6. Would have thought that spacers were wheel spacers..... not sure on MREVs? Isn't there a glossary on that site.......
  7. ++++++++++1! I spent ages washing my baby over the weekend and despite the morning showers it still looks awesome from my office window! Yep, its cool watching the water run off nicely after all that waxing! God, I'm turning into a paintspotter!
  8. Guys with respect, this is a discussion that's been had multiple times on multiple different threads and always one that different people have different views on....... At the end of the day, its a "relatively" free country and people have the right to choose where they want to go and for whatever reason. I personally respect that and its up to them. I for one wouldn't judge anyone for making their own personal choice........ So I say at the end of the day, if someone has gone over to the OC to indulge in that site. Then fine, its his or her choice...... Lets not stir anything up (new or old) with regards to this. At the end of the day, progress seems to be "slowly" be being made...... I wouldn't like to see any comments raised here stop that progress......
  9. Only cos you work from home most the time Yeah somedays, but not always on here all the time....... although sometimes seem to be! I do TRY and get some work done as well!
  10. Hi mate, Never had understeer on the Zed. Always oversteer, usually induced by a bit of right boot........ I'd be checking the tyres etc to start with. Could also be alignment maybe? Not sure, just throwing ideas out of my hat.....

    Rear Pads

I really hope you don't plan to pay them for the labour or something then! If its taken them that long, then speak to the Dealer principal and demand some compensation/discount! That's appalling......
  12. That grin never leaves mate You know what Sarnie, you damn right...... it can be a crap day like today, I look out my window, see my nice clean (finally) Azure on the drive and brings a smile to my face...... Even nipping to the shops is a good way to brighten up the day!
  13. And then you wanted custard instead!
  14. Who knows, who cares..... his choice, leave him be But I blame Sarnie
  15. Hi Hanel! I agree entirely - we spotted one with a blue hood in a car park in Newbury and thought it looked great. The only shame is that I like the ventilated Alezan seats but I really don't want the yellow colour as I don't think it would go together. From the photo it looks as though you stuck with the black seats. Have you seen a blue one with yellow seats around? Did it look ok? Glen Glen, pretty sure that you can't specify those colour seats with the blue. Thought they only allow you to have them with the Kuro, GM or Sunset I think...... or they did.
  16. I'm never in stealth mode.......... Always here in full show, splitting threads

  18. Mighty Z, You don't HAVE to use superunleaded (above 97 RON) but its is recommended. The ECU does compensate....... you loose 15PS if you use unleaded...... The official Nissan response is here: http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=35237#35237
  19. Amended with the following info: Question: The brochure indicates the 350Z uses 98octane fuel, however in other countries this has been banned or phased out. Is this something that may be planned for the UK? Is it possible to use 95 octane? Answer: Yes, the brochure recommends using 98 octane and all the performance figures quoted are achieved using 98 octane. As far as we are aware, there are no plans to phase out 98 octane unleaded fuel in the UK. The 350Z will run without any problems on 95 octane unleaded. There will be some loss of performance as a result (about 15PS) but no long term effects on the engine.
  20. Nice one Glen, I know when I went looking they had a new blue roadster with blue hood and it looked fantastic! Hanel on here has one as well in that colour combination, so any questions give him a shout (hope you don't mind Hanel )
  21. Yeah typically, if its Lxx UST where the x's are the same number, then they are the Nissan Press fleet numbers........ As said, they get used on all the press photos and reviews. Get moved from car to car.....
  22. Jon, not sure completely what this is in reference to but if it has happened then I would say that its probably a one off and the use of plural above implies its a regular thing...... which is isn't. I've only ever locked threads when the original topic has come to a close and to preserve its use without it becoming another home for random conversation. But even then its a rare occurence What i'm trying to say is that this isn't the norm.......
  23. No mate, thats illegal!
