We dont do the Varrstoen wheels any more, they were too difficult to get hold of, and they only offered black! If you check out www.rarerims.co.uk we do a good range of wheels at the moment, but as the Rota distributor they're pretty much what we do, those Rays aren't ours. Is that wheel not just flat black? We do have wheels in flat black, and lots of other finishes - I am not sure which one you were talking about - sorry!

It's not so much the design that is being eluded to here - it's branding and lebelling. If it is sold as a Rota, then it ought to be one. If it's sold as a Rota, and it's not one, then it's a fake version. If the internet fills with pictures of these breaking, then people will just assume, it's bad times really It does tell you how to spot them though, so just beware on eBay and similar places when buying Rota branded wheels, and feel free to ask us if you're unsure on any.

8J is enough for a 245, and is lighter than an 8.5J in the same wheel would be... and the offset is good - what's the downside?

It's just these ones we have at the moment, as pictured - no different versions or fitments I am afraid You can get a 245 on the 8" front, it's within spec for a 245 tyre
