  1. Noting your location, consider a little trip along the M4 to Horsham Developments for a diagnosis/tune.  They are a respected trader on here with an excellent reputation for sorting out issues on Zeds (see their appreciation thread).  I'm sure Jez will be able to resolve your issue to enable you to fully enjoy your car.

Is V-Power 'better' because its more expensive then? ;)

Sorry, but from everything we have seen over the last 10 years+ on this debate, all it has done is to show  there is no clear cut evidence that V-Power has anything more to offer than Momentum.

In my book it is rather like saying clothes with "designer" labels will mean they will last better than clothes without, whereas the reality is they are chosen primarily for the name and that is more important for some than worrying about the extra cost that others will be thinking about.

There are so many other factors that will affect engine longevity than petrol brands, but for those who like to explore the red-line when the opportunity arises what we do know is that regular use of anything less than 97/98ron can, maybe not always, lead to premature failures.

  3. Nice roadster B)

Just a word of caution noting you are planning on fitting 20mm spacers - they will not fit on the front due to the wheel design that means the OEM studs projecting through 20mm spacers do not allow the wheels to sit flush on the spacer.  No issues on the rear.   You need 23mm+ spacers - 25mm are what I used and do the job after finding the 3mm 'slip spacers' originally fitted with the 20mm distorted resulting in vibration.  This thread might help you more:

  4. Recently I've noticed when using Google maps in Apple Car Play in both the Porsche and the Polo that fixed speed cameras are being warned orally, again not 100% and so far have not included average speed cameras (i.e. M23 which maybe to do with them only being there while the road work is going on).

What Ekona says is true though, using your eyes is the most reliable source and your head when that right foot seems to feel the need for muscular movement.........

Out of curiosity, what would WBAC pay for it?

Why not try this as it was just before the accident?

Or see if your Nissan garage would be preparec to put the prices they mentioned in writing?

  6. Hang on......

You drove the car to the garage?

If so the steering lock IF IT HAS ONE has not failed then?

From all the info we have seen, and I have just trawled through umpteen posts on other 370 forums as well as all the tech stuff issued in current Nissan blurb, and I can find no reference to 2012 and onwards 370s having steering locks, so if it were me I would be seriously questioning the dealer's findings.

First and foremost, clarify if your car has a steering look - get the question raised at Nissan customer services using the fault code(s) the dealer has found.

Maybe try and speak to the people you bought the house from if you can to see if they had issues with him?, then you'll know if he's a career dickhead or he's p****d of at you for some reason. I had the same sort of problem some years ago and found out that the neighbour was p****d of with the previous owners, armed with this info the feud was quickly ended, might be worth a shot.

If nothing was declared when the previous owner was selling to Stu, then it is unlikely they would divulge now - see here as a quick reference example:

    http://www.problemneighbours.co.uk/what-you-have-declare-about-neighbours-when-selling.html

Single biggest reason when it comes down to it and having worked in the planning process all my working life as both gamekeeper and poacher involved in thousands of neighbour complaints was:- JEALOUSY, that comes in many forms.  Relatively few were ever found to be otherwise (or admitted by either party) and those resolved amicably were when the parties were sat down together face to face and talking to each other, usually encouraged by others or advisors.  Failing which it would end up in a legal process costing silly amounts of money when stubbornness kicked in.

My advice if a face to face discussion is rejected or gets nowhere, is to talk to a solicitor to find the pros and cons or taking the matter further.

I would say just try all your best to avoid dispute with neighbours........they are nasty (very nasty) when thing goes wrong as soon on Nightmare Neighbour Next Door :scare: Unless you can be nasty too, you'll soon give up and move house.

And if you do move house but have a recorded issue with neighbours, then that has to be declared in the legal docs and of course that can easily put off potential purchasers.

    So this:

    Neighbour issues are always tricky.

When I moved 3 years ago I also had problems with my neighbour.

I find it best to be as diplomatic as possible as if things escalate it really makes life miserable.

To the point where it's more grief than the original problem was.

Not saying let him take the Michael......just saying nothing too rash.
