You'd get away with it on a track day, it aint that loud. These noise regs are only for the manufacturers, what you do after you get your hands on the car is upto you. They just wont sell you it as a factory option.

I would definitely do the suspension and brakes before the FI, if going to the ring, its a bit different to road use. Id fit an oil cooler if your planning to track/ring your car with FI.

AP do a kit, that will fill your wheels nicely, front discs are 355mm. Brembo kit is very good stuff though, if you change the pads, discs and fluid, it will cope with your needs more than adequately. Its alot of money for the extra bling factor, if you go for a BBK.

I just couldnt be bothered with the quirks that come with owning one, i.e. insurance loading, lack of history, etc etc. I wanted a new motor, had the money so bought a UK car. Not saying that imports are bad particularly, but I had one years ago, and swore I wouldnt do it again, took ages to sell. UK cars are now coming in at good prices, be a wiser choice IMO. But each to their own!

Sorry, both my cars were brand new UK models. Never heard of that company either. To be honest, I personally wouldnt got near a Jap import of any car, been there, and swore I wouldnt do it again. Not much help really!

For cheap performance you cant go wrong, if you can get away with it being Ford. Its a good chassis, and a damn good proven engine (Volvo T5 lump), you can tune them very highly. Cant knock it for the money.

Those ST's with basic power upgrades will pull from a zed, they are quick. Basic remap yields nearly 300lb/ft of torque and about 270bhp!!!!!! Still a focus though.

I really doubt their is much difference between each of the super unleaded's in real terms. Over 98 is only any use for FI, where it would give you slightly more protection against detonation.

Im sure they make decent stuff, but how proven are they? I always thought they were a budget make, the suspension is certainly deemed that way. Not saying it aint good, but I'd want more proof of performance for brakes.

Im assuming its do with warranty in America, as Nismo stuff does come with a limited warranty (on the Stune stuff). It means nothing mate, you can safely put the wheels on your car.
