I'm afraid Tim's right. Everyone's entitled to their views but sometimes tongues should be bitten to avoid causing offence. We are all supposed to be friends on here. If my friend buys a Proton and is delighted with it I don't spend half an hour tellng him its sh*t just because I wouldn't be seen dead in one. It fits his requirements and he is happy. I don't want to **** on his parade. If I can't say anything nice I don't say anthing at all. Tact.

The Ruff are the nicer design (I did order a set myself but that's another story) but I believe the Axis wheels to be better quality from both what I've read on the Yank forums and from the guy who I took delivery of my Axis wheels (another story ).

Why's that, mate? Its just that many sports cars tend not to go over 225 or 235 on the front as this can create a little bit of understeer due to larger wider footprint. IMO the zeds steering is perfect with 225 it comes with up front. Since fitting 245 the front wheels just seem a tiny weeny bit numb when turning the wheel IMO. I prefer a more point & shoot, sharp turn in that IMO 225 /235 would give you a little more of. Also going 235 will stiffen the sidewalls more than 245. Its one of the reasons why the Vauxhall Vx220 has such amazing precise handling is due in part to its very skinny front tyres. Makes sense.

In order: don't know......OEM Bridgestones on their last legs on the back and some tread on the front........2 perfect, 2 kerbed and probably need a refurb I can't be more honest than that. PM me an offer if interested.

The Hiro is a gorgeous design IMHO but I don't know about the quality of these copies.

X11 is much better than X16 IMHO. Didn't they have X99? I got a W99 reg for Kat (anyone guess what is was ) and that looks pretty good.

Each to their own. Not forged but apparently very light for cast wheels. Something to do with a MAT process. I agree their a bit pricey for cast wheels but I love them and I like the fact that I've not seen anyone else in the UK with them. Also no polished lip to be attacked by the salt etc. Some of us like the subtle look, Val....
