  1. Hey, good to hear from you Donald - did you sell the the R33 to that bird that was interested at Knockhill ? What you driving now ? What's Gordon driving - thought he was a long term owner, to be honest. Surprised to hear Andy has gone for the new Civic, given that there is no sporty version out yet Thought he's be waiting for the new CTR Gus I didn't sell it to that girl she bought a cheeper one. I couldn't justify having that and the Evo and the bike so just the Evo and bike now and bought a sensible diesel for work with the Skyline money. It was an R32 BTW. Was over at Spa and the Nurburgring earlier in the year with the Evo, running approx 360bhp. It was excellent fun even in the wet. I do miss the sideways action I used to get from the Zed though. Andy is buying a house so went for the diesel civic which is a very nice car and quick to boot. Gordon has traded down for a bit but I'm sure he'll be back soon enough. You done anything more to yours??
  2. Ah, I remember then. I was in both the Stirling and the Rothesay one. You're right it is the guy that bought Andy's car that is selling it now. Andy has a Civic again now, the new shape one. Also, Gordon did sell his Zed. Hope you have a good one.
  3. I sent Shin at Prospec an email in december and heard nothing so basically I went elsewhere. At the same time I sent an email to japanparts and they were very helpful. Clicky Good website for browsing the parts. They are based in Japan so the language can be a barrier although they do speak English. US is much easier. The people you would buy from in the UK would be ordering from the US or Japan anyway.
  4. I did the quarter mile and the drift circuit last year. It was a good laugh. You not up for some track action at, say, Knockhill??
  5. Has the key not got some sort of transponder in it?? You don't really want the immobiliser linked to the alarm as it would be to easy to steal. Just disable the alarm and off you pop. Or steal it at a forecourt when it is not locked but has no keys in it. I think it has to be seperate for cat 1 status. Although not sure if the standard alarm is or not.
  6. Is it not to do with the immobiliser, i.e. to let you know it is armed?? Don't need the alarm to be armed for that I think.
  7. Thanks for that, I'vebeen skulking in the background for a while. Just got round to signing up. Some of you may know I had the Z for sale but I think I'm just going to keep her for a while longer. I've already taken the hit of most of the depreciation now anyway.
  8. Agree with most of above. I don't take his critisisms too seriously as he rarely says anything good about anything, except Ford. Very entertaining though.
