[What are the main questions that need to be asked so I know exactly what I am getting when looking at a JDM import? i.e. before going and viewing the actual car) Millage on import --- check if mileage is consistant with condition and any history Current Milage--- as above Auto or Manual?--- can have either automatic is tiptronic, very nice by all accounts Cruise Control?--- depends on spec ..base model doesnt have this Heated Seats?--- as above Boss System with a Sub?--- doesnt really matter as the Jap system wont pick up most English stations and is crap (again by most accounts!) just by a new head unit dirt cheap Any Alarm--- most will have an alarm fitted What wheels--- can have 17" or 182 depends on spec Does it have Xenons--- will have ,but may have been replaced to get through SVA test, but again most will have be swopped back What other options are there on the JDM models? ---- same as on UK spec , plus a few others like folding mirros when remote locked , auto dipping mirrors when reverse selected, mats ,bodykits, etc. etc..

I think the players ought to get paid a bit more ,as it is obvious they havent really got any incentives

yes I quite agree , but it says in description "would prefer cash on collection " which bodes well, shame I,m not anywhere near the seller or I would be having a look right now

just shop around, there are are a lot of people on this site that actually got their JDM spec insured cheaper than a UK one!! Try and find one that doesnt insist on a tracker.. you,ll never recover the money laid out no matter what discounts they offer. Dont be frightened of buying a JDM spec car virtually all parts are the same and Nissan dealers are only too willing to service them, but from what I read on this site you,d probably be best to avoid them and use an Independant garage..

yes a lot of imports have had their original Xenons replaced to get through SVA test, but most have had the original Xenons put back in and are Ok for normal MOT

What benefits are 2 be gained??? hides some of the stone chips my thoughts exactly Tim you know Mike ., what you ought to get is some of that self adhesive carbon look sheet... just as good as this thing and only costs a few quid., and when that gets scruffy with chips just stick some more on ! will do exactly same job without spending silly money You.ll get some on Ebay or from a Motorbike dealer you mean sticky back plastic blue peter style Thats the one ... this bit he,s selling is only., that but a bit thicker and more expensive I think it sticks on with double sided tape
