  8. hi Kenny
  9. been driving through Europe for years now and never bothered with beam deflectors ever if they get dazzled serves 'em right for driving on the wrong side of the road
  10. I personally would keep the originals, I think it is always better to sell a car in standard trim, I have all my standard stuff stored ready when the time comes How much could a set a GT4's go for without tyres? All four tyres need replacing. Infact it was searching for new tyres that prompted me to buy some new rims. It was really pissing me off to pay £500 for a set of 18's, so £2500 later I have a set of 19's coming I did see a set sell on Ebay last year but with as new tyres fitted , I think they made close to a Grand , but they had £500 quids worth of rubber attached

  12. I reckon when your new wheels arrive just sell 'em like you have with the rest of the bolt on goodies you've recently bought and not fitted You never know, I may have a fit of pique and sell the zed before they arrive

    my wheel saviour

Think I've read about people putting that width on, but I would imagine it may stretch the tyres a bit depending on width of tyre. Do a search on here or the American sites
  20. £280 to refurbish 4 wheels as against £15 ,on a set of wheels that probably could be bought for less than £400 ... that makes sense by the way what has weight and torque got to do with paint finish ?
  21. They look fine on Corsa's Chav .......
  22. Only one thing to say to that Val..B0LLOCKS.. Ive sprayed countless sets of car and motorcycle wheels no problem with durability....come to think of it the standard Rays finish isnt that brilliant by all accounts , of people on here complaining to their dealers with warranty claims on the wheels Besides which getting them professinaly finished will nearly cost as much as a cheap set of rims
  23. if your going to paint them just plain black, why not have a go yourself with aerosols you can get a great finish if you take your time with preparation , undercoat etc.. and will be very cheap compared to getting them professionally done.. I did mine myself, changed from, silver centers to gloss black (see below ) being sprayed finished item all it cost was about £15 in paint and a couple of hours
  24. I personally don't like them , I want everyone to see I'm braking Too many myopic drivers around for my liking
  25. Is this really true, thought it was a bit of an urban myth, as don't you need the police to be at the toll booth? I've seen pictures of a Scooby on a French Moorway doing 165mph... yep , friend of mine got done average 110mph, but your right police was at toll booth, only way to do it is have a rest at a service station
