but not same differential as standard set up
Not sure what you mean by that mate?
standard sizes are 245/45 and 225/45 so rolling radius's arnt the same Stuey has exactly same rolling radius front / rear ..so I'm guessing that is the probs
Does this potentially involve scratching the hell out of the rim as well?
probably ..do it somewhere inconspicuous like on the inside of rim where tyre seats.. didnt you know if you were getting polished or chrome lips
Mmmmm I think mine are bare alloy, as similar to the GT-Cs that I sold to Liam (i think)...... but not 100% sure.....
will investigate
easy to tell, put a bit of Autosol on a clean rag and rub , if the rag turns black it's bare alloy
Yeah there is also this to try instead of Autosol Tim?

Is it safe to use Autosol every now and again on Chrome Rims?
I wouldnt use Autosol on chrome lips , it's a bit abrasive best to stick to a soft polish I would have thought
not tried any of these , I use Rimwax, but to be honest I think whatever you use on bare alloy lips you will end up using Autosol every so often to keep the shine
