  6. Turn the dip stick over and you'll see the marking just below these two little kinks. The kinks themselves aren't the max/min level. The is the first time I ever checked the oil on any car My old man usually does this kinda thing for me when he comes over at weekends I thought the two kinks were the minimum and maximum lines Liam's Z: Why do you need to see the end of the dipstick? Off out to try again................... PS The car is level and cold Sarnie you made same mistake as me. i also thought that the two kinks were the min and max. and agree what a pain in the ass to get the dipstick out and in. Practice makes Perfect
  7. because if IIRC the two markings lie further down... possibly on the other side like hanel suggests
  8. Turn the dip stick over and you'll see the marking just below these two little kinks. The kinks themselves aren't the max/min level. ROLMFAO

  10. Can I buy your Blue Peter one
  11. Sarnie it would help if we could see the end of the dipstick properly I am seriously worried about anyone who doesn't know how 2 check their bloody oil On the dipstick there is two markings one for min and one or max!!!!! If it's between these then your fine but may need a little top up.... Note: Car must be on level ground with engine cold P.s bunch of dipsticks
  12. But 2 much is better than 2 little Btw I check mine regularly, never had 2 top it up yet
  13. Just take it 2 the dealers and say it using lots of oil.... END OF!!! Get them to document your worries and walk away
  14. correct also don't bother testing them with the button next to the VDC. I test them like this: switch the lights on then use the windscreen wipers. They should work simultaneously Val is correct they should work simultaneously but only on initial go, must be a timing sequence
  15. In the event of having a flashing Airbag warning light (but with no fault with the system), then follow the following procedure: This procedure will CLEAR the AirBag light ONLY if you do not have problems with the airbags on your 350Z. 1. Turn ignition switch from OFF to ON. 2. Air Bag warning lamp is on for 7 seconds and turns off, then turn ignition switch OFF within 1 second after the lamp turn off. 3. After ignition switch is turned OFF, wait for more than 3 seconds. 4. Repeat steps 1 to 3 twice. (Perform 3 times in total.) 5. Turn Ignition switch ON. 6. The SRS lamp has been reset it. In the event that this does not work, then may be indicative of an actual fault and further investigation should be sought. H5 if comes back, please have it checked out properly.... Btw it took me a couple of goes,,, think I didn't get the timing right first time
  16. H5 I'm not clear in what your saying!!!! Do you mean when you start the car and the airbag and everything else goes through it's self checking process that the air bag light remains on and continues to flash??? If so this has happened 2 me I'll see if I can find the thread for clearing it..... Really should go back 2 the dealers.....
