This is really to sell something but I think the marketer are having a schoolboy moment.

Glyn,
Nothing to do with the spark...sorry chap.
It is all about equalising the earth potential (VOLTAGE LEVEL) across all points that the engine management touches. If this is smoothed with the leads and no spikes detected then it will run smoother.
Sorry just my 12 years of Aircraft Electrical and Electronic engineer experience kicking in.
Regards
Steve
Technically speaking (and I don't do that very often) improving the earth contacts across a number of points across the engine as opposed to the single point in a new car imporves the grounding and consequently the quality of the spark made in the engine. This ensures smooth firing. Personally, I've got one, certainly doesn't do the car anyharm and I think it stops it from being a bit lumpy with very low revs ..... great for me when dropping mini off to school :scare: For the £50 odd that spill charges ...... well worth it ...... a tank of gas costs more !!!!! No power gain though I don't think. -
Stephen, do look good and better than I expected.
Would like to see in the flesh, which meets are you going too.

If they did the test in the TSB, ie, measured the wear pattern and it is off, then does not matter what number they have or if in a range....it failed their tests. It must be warranty.

On the latest info about Hullavington, the email say you can hire their Elise for 10 mins..
Lotus Elise Hire at this event
This is your chance to drive this fantastic sports cars. For just £30 you can drive one of our Lotus Elise sports cars with an instructor in the passenger seat coaching you for a 10 minute session. We are also offering high speed passenger rides in this car at £20 for three laps. These sessions can be booked in advance by calling us or on the day if space is available.
Cheap, short time but will give intro to how safe it can be.
But if you want a full day there is plenty that do Caterham/Elise for hire but they normally cost 3-400 a day.

Dorian,
You can get them cheap also....for 9-10k for lower spec one.
But in the right hands a 130BHP car can leave other much more expensive thing standing...as I found out with a chap at Bedford.
1 Gallardo, 1 Murcie and...
in Spotted or Flyered
