  1. Pinging up an old post, sorry!

Anyone got a link to a bulb / LED that is bright and fits in the cluster? Most links on this thread are dead now, and even searching using the keywords doesn’t throw anything up specific - just a long list of similar items.

Dont want to buy the wrong one, nor do I want to leave the car in pieces whilst I wait for a bulb to turn up.

    Thanks

No, but surely that negates the search feature on the forums anyway - hence my question about the forums search feature :-)

Having done more testing it appears to be case sensitive too -  “Heat” vs “heat” yielded different results for example. But by default, putting it in upper case initially then adds a “+” between the words when the search results are returned - which also then fails and has to be removed.

Havent seen these issues on other forums I frequent so I thought I’d ask. Thanks.

    Hi guys,

hope this is the right place to ask - feel like I’m being a numpty...

whenever I use the search facility (magnifying glass on top menu) and search for anything, usually more than 1 word, I get 0 search results. It seems that the search facility just doesn’t find posts or threads that I know exist.

Am I doing something wrong? Oh, and I have searched on this issue before you ask - ironically I found 0 results. LOL

    thanks

An example: “heat wrap” found 0 results.

However, upon searching for something else (turbo) which gave search results, then searching for “heat wrap” again found threads and posts!?! Seems odd?

browsing on either chrome, or Apple iPad/iPhone.

I can't recall i just went with cheapest solution eBay or something similar. I'm 6.1" and i do not have issues with height except on track day's with helmet on. Than i could use inch or two of clearance

Do the seats slide back and forward or are they fixed in position?

ive got muteki on mine and they were fine for about 6months but have started to rust/corrode hence looking around for something that will last a little longer. would love to get 10 of us onboard and have the big discount, plus would be good to see all the zeds with a nice bit of bling at the shows!

No problem with mine here, although I’ve decided to swap them for some black ones as blue really isn’t my thing. Suppose I’m lucky enough to garage my car every night, but for £60 a set they are ton cheaper than these :-)

  7. Month 6: May 2018

    Completed This Month:

    • Purchase (but not install) Black Muteki SR48 wheel lug nuts & locking nuts
    • Sell OMP Steering wheel
    • Paint & install radiator slam panel
    • Install custom boot divider
    • Bonnet catch clean & refurb

= £-27 total (Earned not spent!!)

So by refitting the retrimmed OEM steering wheel last month, it left me with an genuine OMP steering wheel and NRG boss spare. I promptly sold these for £220 - netting me a tidy £60 profit from the retrim swap! This drastically reduced the overall project spend this month..

As I attended Japfest (great show, great day out!) I took the advantage of negating postage fees and collected both a radiator slam panel (RickDon) and a custom boot divider (IanH). Both of which were dead easy to fit, although I decided to prime (etch-prime) the slam panel and paint with some gloss black paint instead. This finishes off the front of the engine bay nicely.

June should bring a few more cosmetic changes and I've booked the Enkei alloys in for a refurb (gloss black) in very early July - cannot wait! When these are refitted to the car, I'll also get the new Muteki nuts installed (As these are black they'll go with the new wheel finish nicely). This means that the blue Muteki's I have will be up for sale soon!

I see your point but is not about how many you can buy for that money is about the quality you get

don't seem to find too many good reviews for them eithter....

Nothing wrong with Muteki -forged steel and good quality. A bit of rust inside the open ended ones like I have but you can barely see it tbh. And if I bought a new set every 2years For 8 years I’d probably have sold the car and moved onto the next project by then. I was interested until I saw the price - £175 for a set of wheel nuts is just a lot of money for very little gain. Good luck for the minimum order though, I’m sure you’ll get interested folk eventually.

I am surprised there aren't more people jumping on this offer, that's probably as good as you can get for your wheels... unless you like rusty wheel nuts :p and you chuck £20 for a set....

When you can buy nearly 4 sets of Muteki nuts for the same price after discount, I think it could be hard to persuade peeps to spend that much. Just my opinion tho!

You don't have to pay it.

There's a section all about parking fines. I've never paid a fine from private parking companies. Council ones you do. So worth checking which one it is but fairly you'll be alright. Website above will be the place to go for any advice, etc. Used them before for fines on my bike.

    I hope this is true!

LewisH, let me know how you get on - I’ll be prepared for a letter on the doormat when I get home just in case.
