Wow.. that's awesome work from everyone. Also very brave of you to go ahead with the 'surgery' to save the car.
It makes perfect sense though if your going to keep the car long term. Looks like a job very well done.

350z letters are on the passenger side and Z emblem is centrally positioned.
It was drizzling and cold, but I got these rough photos for you. Posting from my phone... hopefully it works.

Just so much want.. I'm not usually a fan of kits but these parts look the business.
-
Mine was around £360 to be stripped, painted in anthracite along with Z center caps repainted to match.
-
So what was the quick maintenance?

That’s surprising if they’re both recaro tbh. But yeah, drill your own and do it that way.
Yeah, I'd be annoyed about that. Bet they weren't exactly cheap?
-
When's the latest you can add your name? I'd like to go but depends on work commitments.

Yes, your garage must have let the master cyl reservoir run dry, creating an air lock.
Is that not an issue for any car?
-
Anyone know why air in the system is such a pain for these cars?

Can't see tarmac supplying the wrong clutch for a 350z
Me neither to be honest. They were really helpful today considering I bought the bits a good while back.
Confirmed all parts are correct and suggested checking the release bearing is seated properly, which it is so everything points back to air in the system.

Update: Garage have said that they've adjusted the pedal and although it's made it slightly better it's still not right. They pulled the gearbox again to compare the new/old clutch and think that the new clutch or flywheel is wrong and sent me these photos:
New one is 116mm:
Old one is 125mm:

Does this make sense? I guess I'll now have to get on the phone to tarmac sportz and double check the part numbers I have are correct.
-
I like it, but not the bonnet scoop thing at the front.

If your pedal travel was fine before the install, I can't see pedal adjustment solving the issue. Last year I had my slave cylinder replaced with braided line and found priming the slave cylinder the best way to bleed the system.
Assuming though that the difference is that the old flywheel was dual mass and the new one is single mass.
-
Ahh.. that must be where the issue is. I'll ask them to adjust the pedal.
Is this correct guide to follow?
-
The manual says not to use a pressure bleeder. Is that something most people ignore?
-
Hi guys,
My local garage fitted a new RTS clutch along with a tarmac sports lightened flywheel, slave cylinder and braided line for me today.
The clutch pedal is only returning half way.
They're saying they've bled it many times (I emphasised that the zeds can be tricky) and also tried the new clutch on the old slave cylinder before changing to the new one. And it was the same as it is now half pedal.
Does anyone know if there are any adjustments needed to the clutch pedal when fitting a lightened flywheel? Thanks

Is that link working? I get 404.
(I've since navigated to it successfully through the menu on the site and it looks like the same URL.. never mind)

Fitted mine last Sunday. Driven a couple of shortish journeys and one very long motorway based trip which I would normally do once or twice a month.
Overall I can feel improved response and most surprisingly I've seen my best ever MPG recording, from 30.9 to 35.8.
Really pleased, thanks @reeceybeaney
