  1. Possibly better to try to sell the mods to recoup the money as you'll struggle to sell a 53 plate for that price and mileage for the money you're looking. Nice car none the less. Good luck in finding it a new home.
  2. Jon, Yeah, contacts, skills and luck but not necessarily in that order. I don't buy from auction, only buy from known owners or known cars. Unfortunately for Michael, another forum member jumped in on this as there was a bit of confusion why Michael would consider buying my engine when he had been offered a lower mileage engine at at lower price elsewhere, however that turned out to be not the case. Alex Thanks for getting back to me Alex. I missed the boat on this but it was my fault entirely. I was mislead by an ebay trader and what I thought was a good deal turned out to be one that would involve a lot of risk and in turn one I was definitely not willing to take. Still on the lookout. =[ Thanks, Michael.
  3. Hello Pal, I've been offered one with slightly less miles for £1500 but this is tempting. Could you possibly upload and send me the video and relevant documents for inspection? Bare in mind this would have to be sent to Northern Ireland, but that's not a lot of hassle these days. Thank you for getting back to me this quickly. I appreciate it. Regards, Michael. I just realised that said *less* miles. It was supposed to say *more*. Lol.

  5. Looking for a solid VQ35DE Non Rev Up engine for my build plans with solid compression tests. Let me know what's about. Thanks, Michael.
  6. Great piece of kit. Good luck with the sale.

So you've got that one spot on. awesome I work in sales at Bavarian mini Ah you must work with Mark who recently threw the head up and walked out of MS Skoda. Haha. Lol do indeed ha mark is desk beside me... Decent big lad Yea, I got along with him well. It was surely an event the day he walked out. ;] Comedy at its best. 11. SP9 for me. Just to be different. ;] The only issue with this for me is..It's permanently in SP9. The TT setup will hopefully change all of this. My MPG has taken a turn for the worst using this.
  12. I will indeed. I've been taking a lot of pictures already and I will create the build thread later tonight/tomorrow. This will come together quite quickly. A few weeks at most I would imagine. The cost is more than the value of the car. Haha. Haha. Pete is a gentleman and a scholar. Known him a long time from the RMS forums. The bodyshop along with Pete done an excellent job. You very likely did pal. It's been in an out of places getting work done prior to the TT setup. I was initially going to charged route, but I've had a change of heart. It may even have been the day I got the worst puncture in history on route to getting other work done. Thanks pal. It'll be over in a flash ;] We pay tax, but this falls into the lower bracket as far as the 350z goes. Thankfully.
  13. Well after much deliberating I've decided that it was time to return to the JDM zone and with as much time arguing with the missus as researching my next project, I stumbled across a car I always had a slight itch for. The 350z was a car that always eluded me, having previous owning MR2 Turbo's, Hawk eye STI, R34Neo GTT, E46 M3...and wound up in a 2016 Skoda VRS Estate [Diesel] , I figured it was time to ignore the words of so called wisdom and maturity that my partner instills in me and risk having to self satisfy myself using little but my hand as an added expense to purchasing the vehicle. With all this in mind; I took the leap of faith of forcibly becoming a Reborn Christian and the days where my palm was my only sexual gratification...A small price to pay for some fun that in fairness lasts longer than the 240 seconds of bliss I have sacrificed. A small price I would say. Short term pain; long term gain So I set about on my journey to find a car I could use as a solid base for my plans. After searching high and low and deliberating between which engine to go for, DE, RevUP, etc...It ironically came down to picking the car based on it's exterior condition due to planning on a full forged engine rebuild, twin turbo setup. So I purchased a 2004 UK GT Coupe at the tail end of October and so the journey begun: First stage was to get rid of any sign of rust, cut it out and have the car panels resprayed and have the car fully detailed with a paintwork correction and Gtechniq Crystal Serum Light and EXO to protect the paintwork moving forward. I also had the interior fully restored to the highest of standards to make it look as close as possible to new. The results are shown in the pictures below: Next Step - TURBO; -Greddy Twin Turbo Kit Complete with Intercooler -HTA 83mm upgraded Turbo Chargers built for Forced Performance (each turbo can handle 500whp) -Tail 38mm Wastegates -External Wastegate Dump Kit -3in down pipes -Custom Exhaust -Arias Extreme Duty Pistons (.020 overbore) -Cosworth Intake Manifold (Carbon Fiber end caps) -Crower Extreme Duty Connecting Rods -ARP Extreme Duty Head Stud Kit L19 -HKS Metal Head Gasket 97mm -ATS TRIPPLE CARBON CLUTCH -AAM Oil Pan Spacer -CJM Stage 2 Fuel Return System -CJM Twin Fuel Pump Assembly -1000cc Injectors -Jim Wolf C8 Camshaft(turbo spec) -Jim Wolf Spring and Shim Kit -Snow Performance Methanol Injection kit -Forged Performance s1 shortblock assembly kit -Koyo Radiator -B&M Short Throw Shifter -Nismo Thermostat -FP turbo oil filters -Evans Zero Water Coolant -Nissan Rear Coolant Bypass System -AAM Greddy Oil Line kit -Nissan Rod Bearing set-tri -Nissan Main bearing set-tri -Cosworth Thrust bearings std -Nissan Engine Overhaul gasket kit -Premium Heat wrap on manifolds and hot piping -Unorthodox Complete Pulley kit -Blue Samco Hose Kit -Grounding Kit -NGK step two colder spark plugs -Crawford Oil Cap -Greddy High Pressure Radiator Cap Interior [Not a big interior person]: -Pioneer SPH-DA120 [bought & Installed] -MopedMark!?
