  1. I have a BT adaptor. £55 delivered. Worked fine with my iPhone 6s, but surpluss to my requirements now I've changed the stereo

Would take it off your hands, but I have a galaxy s7 edge and I've heard the newer android type phones don't work with the adaptors :(

Where are you based? I'm in Gloucestershire. If you are near you could try before you buy

I'm miles away unfortunately, by Brighton down south! Just need someone to confirm if newer android phones works

  2. Heard lots of posts on the forum about people's newer phones not working with their Bluetooth handsfree.

Very specific question, but does anyone know if the galaxy s7 edge works with the bluetooth module? As I'm looking at buying and don't want to get a new head unit!

    Thanks!

  4. Iv got the p1147 (just the passenger side), iv got k1 cat back, came on the car, was fine for the first two months when I bought it, then this code came on in November, when I clear the code and it comes back on in around 30miles. I've changed the o2 sensor for a second hand one and its no different.

Should I just buy 1 o2 spacer for the passenger side?

I had the light on from Wednesday last week up until Sunday night. I did the ecu reset using the pedals and the light has stayed off all week so far! I think the sensors must get damp or something that just causes them to throw up a code. I got told if the car isn't running poorly and your economy hasn't dropped then I wouldn't bother as people have told me the sensors can play around when it's cold and damp.

  5. Yeah fluid will have to be changed as well I think it's advised you change it more regularly on the zeds with the brembos.

I can never remember which are the tougher pads out of the redstuff or yellowstuff?? The greens aren't all that I've used them before and couldn't say much about them really.

Redstuff is more suitable for "fast road" use and yellowstuff for track.

However I know people that use both for all purposes, so depends how picky you want to be and what you want from the car! :)

    Yellowstuff-

Work OK from cold (perfectly safe)

    Amazing when hot

    Short life span

    High dust

    Soft pedal feel

    Redstuff-

    Work well from cold

    Brilliant when hot

    Longer life span

    Low dust

    Slight low speed squeal

    Very firm pedal feel

  6. Its due to increase gas flow in exhausts. O2 sensors think mixture is lean. You can try the sleeves for o2 sensors but the only real way to cure it is a remap.

Mine`s been on for over a year, had a fuelling check on the rolling road and all good.

Worth looking to see if the cats are different or not.

Typically with this car it makes a bit more sense to have it mapped after changes to the breathing of it, so it's fueling properly and that you actually make use of any extra ponies from the parts.

I clear the light though otherwise you don't know if another error pops up.

Car going up on the ramp this weekend for a gearbox and diff oil change so will check the cats then, even though I'm sure they're standard.

Guess I'm saving up for a plenum spacer and an UpRev then!

  7. Happens to nearly everyone, especially those that have different exhausts, do you have a non standard one?

It'll happen more in the colder months, just use the obd2 thing and clear it.

So basically don't worry about it and ignore it??? Yes I have a Cobra Resonated Cat Back and a Japspeed Y Pipe.

  8. Got EBC turbo discs and redstuff pads all round and the car stops very well, the brake pedal feel is also very solid but that could be due to recent motul brake fluid change as well.

I have heard that the DS2500 pads get really good reviews as well!

Sure you'll be happy whatever you choose! ;)

  9. Started driving my new Zed last week and noticed a few days ago the EML light coming on. I have done research on the forum and found that replacing O2 sensors is the answer to the P1147 and P1167 codes.

I did the the "pedal dance" and that threw the P1167 code and I plugged an OBD2 gizmo in and that said P1147...

Recently fitted a Mishimoto Induction Kit and hoping that this isn't the cause of the codes!

Hope someone can help or cat least confirm it's likely to be BOTH O2 sensors!

  10. Looks like it's been hydrodipped to me but I'm no expert, but if so it's actually made of plastic and should be fairly easy to sort with some normal body filler and sanding. Then figure out if you want it painted or find someone (probably a trader on here) who can dip it again for you for your carbon effect! ðŸ‘ðŸ¾

I'm no expert either but I'm pretty sure it is carbon fibre as I can see, and now feel, the weave itself... unless it's just over some fibreglass or something I don't know to be honest!

It will be hard to repair - not impossible but it would have to be sanded back to get the cracks out then a LOT of coats of clear to first fill the deep marks then flat back more clear and repeat until all smooth again.

I know how you feel clipped the front of my CF splitter and chipped all the clear off :(

It is horrible really now it sticks out like a sore thumb to me! The clear stuff has chipped off in only a few places. The thing is, I really like the front splitter, it really adds to the shape of the car... so I don't want to take it off!

  11. What are you hitting it on?

Just say you're the local DK :) much respect.

Going into the pub car park once... :p also coming out of a car park going steep down hill, then before leveling out the lip hits first before the car levels out.

Haha love the DK idea... might leave it then! ;)

  12. Really do love the blue! Almost makes me question if I should have got blue instead! I would go for a darker wheel colour too if the wheels ever need a referb but that's just personal opinion of course... I would say Eibach Springs and Spacers are a good combination :p

  13. Bluetooth didn't work with any phones I tried, mainly HTC.

Before buying headers, do you know how big a job it is to change them?

Hm bit of a gamble then!

Yes I understand it's a bit of a ball ache etc etc, but I have access to a ramp/workshop and a few friends of mine know what they're doing so I'm sure it will get done if I can get some nice manifolds.

    Thanks for the message!

  14. Yeah, I guessed that you were after pre owned.

May have a pre owned MotorDyne 5/16 plenum spacer in stock, let me check that for you.

Pre owned DC sports DE headers in stock.

MotorDyne pre owned Test pipes in stock, unfortunately HR.

    Sorry, no Bluetooth stuff.

Send a pm with some details if you're wanting to get rid of the spacer and headers quickly? I'll be looking out for some decats or HFC's if there's some out there!

    Thanks :)

I don't have any of the above but most of the stuff under the bonnet is available.

Polished plenum, polished throttle body, polished engine harness cover.

Are you looking to get rid of the polished plenum? Did want to do this to mine as it sets the engine bay off quite nicely! :D

  15. Not sure if you are aware that the bluetooth adaptor will not work with most modern phones.

I wasn't aware of this, might give it a miss then as they're difficult to come across anyway!

Works fine on my iphone 7

I was thinking... I can't see it not working as newer devices are always compatible with older ones? I'll try it, if I see an adapter for sale:)
